I voted Superman because his honest, nobel spirit shines through. He helps people in trouble because it is the right thing to do. He will always be there, no matter whether he gets a thank you or not, or whether he even gets the glory for helping. He believes in right and in righting wrongs. Maybe he's not as appealing as the way batman walks that thin line between good and evil. Bad boys are always sexier. But I like that Superman stands for good. Truth, Justice and the American way and that. Sure he plopped out of the sky, but he's a small town farm boy at heart.  Plus, he is way hot. |

(Politician from a "Red" State voice) We can't be voting for an illegal alien - next thing you know we'll have illegals from all kinds of planets - destroyed or not - coming here and taking the food out of the mouthes of American super heroes - and hiding behind all that "Truth, justice and The American Way". You can't be for the "American Way" unless you're born and raised in this great country of ours.
Now take Batman - as red blooded American as they come. A Capitalist Billionaire, he didn't sneak into the good old USA under the cover of a meteor storm - no - Batman boldly walks the streets - and flies through the air in the American way - with his own sweat and muscle - not some alien super powers.
Superman - and any of you other aliens out there even thinking of coming here - just because you don't have super powers where you come from and you think you will here - that's not an open invitation - go bother some other planet.
There are factions here in this country - probably Communists - or worse - Democrats - who support Superman - so we are powerless to deport him - for the time being.

Batman is the man. Supes is awesome, Green Lantern is awesome, but the JLA is always lost when Batman is off on his own. He is vital to the team and has saved their butts more times than any of them.
Oh, and uh, I'm not really a nerd. heh heh...
