Superman most definitely. I agree with Jack. Batman is a fake superhero. Superheros should have superpowers.

Batman. I'd take sick cars, a huge mansion, cool toys, billions of dollars, and Alfred over a desk job with a moderate salary, greasy hair, and questionable immigration status any day.

and even though Superman has only one weakness...everyone seems to have it.

Batman all the way. He is one tough dude and I love him over all superheroes. He has had to work hard to get to be a hero, when he could have just coasted on his wealth. Plus, Superman is too much of a flag waver for my taste.

Batman! Obviously! 1. Batman could beat Superman anyday, he always keeps kryptonite on him. 2. Superman is such a goody-two-shoes...which is soo boring. 3. Batman is obviously much much hotter, a badboy millionare...no competition!

Can't believe this is even a conversation... Batman cause he has no weaknesses. Stick a little piece of kryptonite in front of Superman and he just withers up. Besides I think the issues in baseball have proven that we want someone playing that isn't juiced up.

How is this even a question???  Batman is by far the coolest superhero ever. Not only does he have all his crazy gadgets, but he's rich, he's got an awesome costume, he has a skylight, and he's conquered his fears! Not to mention that what makes him so INCREDIBLE is that he doesn't actually need some crazy weird superpowers from an alien planet. He's HUMAN. Oh and what kind of a disguise is putting on glasses? Clark Kent gets to just take off his glasses, put on a tight suit and then he's superman and nobody can recognize him? Geez Jack! And I thought I could trust in you! ;D  |

Superman is and will always be the first Superhero! All others have derived in some way from this model of good. He started as a protector of the oppresessed (abused wives, derpession-era migrant workers, etc.) and then naturally became an American icon during the war. He is the epitome of the optimistic spirit that drives humanity. This is opposed to Batman's constant state of distrust and pessimism. Bats is the flip side of the coin to Supes. He admires him greatly and strives to create a better world, too. He just starts from the bowels of society and works his way up...Superman is already there, floating in the horizon and looking to the future.
