I really enjoyed Lord of the Rings, but Star Wars goes back to my childhood, and now my kids like Star Wars. So I have to vote Star Wars. ;D

I don't see how anything can strike a deeper emotional response than the epic story George Lucas has created. Using Josephs Campbells mono-myth, he has created a timeless tale that uses the best elements from generations of storytelling illustarted in the most cutting edge filmaking. The six part epic changed the way films are made and continue to change the way the entire concept of how stories are told and myths are made. Plus the Star Wars movies are true independent films, no Hollywood influences. What did the LOTR introduce or change?
And I think all the Star Wars films are equal and have to be looked at as one movie because that is how they were concieved. The filmaking process is what broke the story up. Similar to how the literature publishing process broke up the LOTR into seperate books.
...but if I had to choose it would be Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. I love the way it connects the entire story together. Like LOST.
Save the Cheerleader, save the world.

So I'm getting ready to cast my vote, and I say, wait, didn't these two guys already have a Star Wars versus?..Hmmm..need new material. Anyway, I gotta go with the Star Wars trilogy when it comes to movies....but the Lords made for good reading. I think more guys had the hots at the time for Leia than they did for Liv the Elf...but waay back when Hans Solo was HOT

I had to vote Star Wars. I only saw the first LotR, and I've seen 4 SW (Eps. 1, 4, 5 & 6) so by default I pick, SW. I hope my votes not too late... it doesn't matter much anyways, lol!
