Okay, I'm not saying Ep. I-III were the worst movies ever, but compare it to the orginal star wars...ugh.....no lol. I don't know. I just always liked Lord of the rings more. But I won't mind if star wars wins.
Hey, I think I have a problem. Some of those CGI robots looked....like...anamted. Does that sound stupid? I think it sounds weird but....lol

If you would have made the contest between LOTR and the original Star Wars trilogy, then Star Wars wins hands down. But, since you included the prequel trilogy as well, I gotta give Lord of the Rings the e-props here. LOTR!!!!

Star Wars all the way... simply cause I can still watch those movies without being bored to tears. Twice through was all I could take of LotR, especially the Extended Editions, those were overkill. So Psyched for the Ramblecast! The motta should be, "The Ramblecast, your alternative to LOST's alternative: Daybreak." lol

Don't forgoet Legolas/Orlando Yum! ;D This one was tough, but I have to say LOTR. All three movies were better visually, made a better story, definitely better diaglogue, and just made me excited about watching movies again. We do likes the young elves, don't we precious!

It was a tough vote. Star Wars movies, no matter how many times I watch them, don't ever get boring. (Besides episodes 1-2) As I said it was hard.

LOTR of course. I mean come on guys, Star Bores, is a cheap and nasty knock off of Lord of the Rings....
Frodo = Luke Aragorn = Hans Solo Gandalf = Obi Wan
The story line is pretty much the same as well, Good Vs Evil. The only thing that Star Wars may, I mean may, come close to LOTR movie trilogy is the special effects, but LOTR is streats ahead on that department as well. Sorry Jack, I don't fancy your chances on this one.

No contest for me. Star Wars has been a big part of my life for nearly 30 years now. I really liked the LotRs trilogy, it's beautifully done, but Star Wars, especially ESB, will always be my favorite. Hello, Han Solo, need I say more?

LOTR DE-FI-NI-TE-LY! Tolkien's books and PJ's movies changed my life, never felt so involded in a story before, actually I can't really explain why I love so much this story but if there's one thing I know this is that I'm proud to say I'M A RINGER!

No offense but Tolkien published The Fellowhip Of The Rings in 1954 and he had begun writing it 15 years sooner so yeah LOTR came first
