Now that you say it... That probably would have been in my top 10 list as well. I used to watch that with my mum when I was a kid and that theme song got stuck in my head for days. ;D

I will have to go with Jack's choice. He has the more classic stuff on and since I am a bit nostalgic, he hit the spot with shows like "The Fall Guy", "Simon&Simon", "Magnum, P.I.". My favorite shows from Jay's Top Ten were only "M.A.S.H" and "Pink Panther". By the way, here in Germany we have a car commercial on TV starring Lee Majors as Colt Seavers Go and check it out at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBK-cwpHZUE Too funny

Jack wins this one by a mile.
I was all ready to write in and say, "You forgot Hawaii five-o!" but Jack saved himself at the end. Still, I think they both missed a few classics:
- I Love Lucy - Good Times - Jeffersons - Friends - Happy Days
I guess this shows my preference for old sitcoms on Nick at Nite!

I can't believe you forgot the theme from Dukes of Hazzard. Not saying the show was good, but the song rocked. Also, everyone knows the words to The Jeffersons, The Flintstones and of course Gilligans Island! I have to say, I remember all of the songs on both lists except the Denver the Dinosaur song. And I'm picking Jacks list mostly because I like every song on the list and i'm not picking Jay's list because he had the theme to Captain Planet, my kids watched that show and I couldn't stand it. If you ever do come to Hawaii, I can show you Robins Nest, I drive by everyday on my way to work. And my son can play Hawaii 50 on his ukulele!

I had to vote for Jack b/c I never heard of most of Jay's picks and I LOVE cartoons. I am surprised that no one picked "Greatest American Hero" - I still can sing all of the words to that one!!!
Anyway, I love the Ramblecast - it really makes the time until Lost enjoyable.

I have to go with Jack here but I am surprised that "Cheers" or "Friends" weren't in Jack's top 10. Nothing Jay thinks surprises me anymore.

Okay, this is my first post and I couldn't help myself because the Ramblecast was fantastic, I LOVE TV themes!
By far Jack had the better songs (Sorry Jay, although I loved Fresh Prince & Pink Panther) I'm a child of the 80's true blue and I recognised most of those tunes and was shouting out the names as you played them.
Some of my faves would be the (classic) Looney Toons, A-Team, Night Rider, Muppet Show, Family Ties, Electric Company, Laverne & Shirley, Cheers, MacGyver... and seriously, DALLAS.

I thought for sure either The A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard, The Jetsons or The Flintstones would sow up on one of the lists. I voted for Jay becasue I am too young (29) to have really watched and enjoyed Jacks picks. However, I do remember watching reruns of the Fall Guy in the early 80's.

+1 to CarcinoGenny for remembering "Carmen Sandiego," possibly the second greatest theme song after "Jem"! AMAZING. Also, mad props to melxcloud & Sarahjean for remembering "The X-Files" theme, also waaay up there! I loved Jem. Although the Theme Song isn't coming to mind at the moment....my brain keeps handing me the "Fame" song.... And thanks! I have to say that even though a lot of the picks on the ramblecast didn't evoke much for me, it did get me looking for the songs I loved to hear them again.....and maybe....::cringes:: make some ringtones? I want a Knight Rider ringtone for my little brother... re: X-files--Yes! I was just listening to Bad Stone by Crystal Method today and was thinking how that totally reminded me of the X-files, but somehow it didn't make the connection back to the ramblecast topic in my head.
