I'm going to take a wild stab here and guess that you didn't put the "Jem and the Hollograms" theme song on here. Which makes me angry. And seriously question your taste in theme music.

Jake destoryed Jay , but Jay had a couple of good ones. Fresh prince of bel air , and Pink Panther were great. I can't believe that Cheers , Family Ties , Cosby show , the Muppet show and the Firefly theme weren't , in the top ten.
I didn't know some of Jay's shows , maybe it's because I'm Canadian.

Hi guys. I've been listening and lurking for a while now. But I had to jump in here because I was so surprised at both Jay and Jack's choices. I think the rules are too muddy to vote, really. Just because a song gets stuck in your head doesn't mean it's enjoyable. So is the list the ones that got stuck in your head the most or the ones that you enjoy the most or the best made? Or is it songs that might be bad but everyone secretly enjoyed? Or that define a generation?
....I actually didn't know most of the songs on both of the lists. And ....sorry Jay--I, for one, do not know the Full House theme song.
I do agree it has a lot to do with what one hears as a kid...but I guess neither of you are of my generation...the A-team generation?
....now I have to go and make my own top 10. (I first thought of Barney Miller but then I realized that my brain morphs it into Night Court....but they both have great basslines...) No wait I have to vote....no I have to think about it for a while.
(btw I enjoy the "Lost Recap" and "Next on Lost" themesongs more, even though I know they don't count in TV theme song catagory)

Have to go with Jay on this one, I grew up on most of the same shows despite the "little" age difference between us. I loved the Snorks!! I also really liked "The Littles"/"Here Comes The Littles", don't know if anyone remembers them. But yes, I'm surprised the Muppets, and Cosby Show were not in the top ten too. And what about The Greatest American Hero?!!! It's classic!! That tune always gets in my head

Have to go with Jack although I liked Jay including Fresh Prince and MASH (without words - much better). Would have liked to see Gilligan's Island, the Brady Bunch or Partridge Family themes, maybe even The Twilight Zone. Jay -- you missed one of the most classic cartoon songs ever -- The Flintstones! You guys Rock!

Jack is the clear winner here. I didn't know half of Jay's songs, but I knew all of Jack's (Including the Fall Guy).

have to go with Jay; it was a near-perfect list. I could be partial becasue I am much closer to Jay's age, but it certainly brought back memories.

Oh my gosh - Jay wins by a LONG RUN! The only song I wasn't quite familiar with was MASH - only b/c i never reallly watched the show! Great List Jay! Way to bring back the late 80's/Early 90's!

I'm in the same generation as Jay, but Jack's themes where, for the most part, better than Jay's, execpt for...
Denver the Last Dinosaur!!!
I loved that cartoon and it was awesome to hear that theme song again! That song tipped the scale in favor of Jay for me.
Another theme song I loved from my childhood was the theme to the muppet version of Fraggle Rock.

Ok well first off I have to say that this was a very enjoyable and fun ramblecast...it brought back a lot of memories Jack, I have definitely heard of all the shows you picked but I must confess that I never really watched any of them….not my generation. So in the end I must pick JAY because we grew up in the 80’s and I knew and watched almost all of the shows he picked and loved them ...one that I would have picked though is Mighty Morhpin Power Rangers (the original and not the weird spinoffs they created). Yes I know its cheesy but I truely loved the Power Rangers growing up (and I was totally the Pink Ranger for halloween once with pics to prove it and still remember the theme...Go Go Power Rangers! lol ...although for my #1 i would have picked The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air because when I was younger, everyone knew the words to this song...Story: when I was in 4th grade (public school), I was in the cafeteria waiting to get lunch when someone started to sing the theme song to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and then all of a sudden the entire cafeteria (like 80 of us) burst out singing this and everyone knew all the words...it was hilarious and I will never forget it

Yeah, I got to go with Jack. I loved some of Jay's picks (Ninja Turtles, Fresh Prince & The Pink Panther), but I just gotta go with Jack. Although I'm slightly a bit older than Jay, we are from the same generation, I still have to go with Jack. I have great memories watching "Simon & Simon" and "Magnum P.I." with my Dad and I absolutely love those songs.
I can't believe nobody picked John Sebastian's "Welcome Back" The Theme from Welcome Back, Kotter, that's a great song!!
