Kind of a tie between Casablanca and The Big Lebowski.
Of course I like them both for very different reasons.

At the moment, mine is Cloverfield. It has everything that anybody could want in a movie. (Besides a soundtrack, but this film wasn't meant to have one anyway.)

Hands down the BEST movie ever is "The Princess Bride." Lol "Miracle Max: Get back, witch. Valerie: I'm not a witch, I'm your wife. But after what you just said, I'm not even sure I want to be that any more"

HANDS DOWN favorite movie EVER is Monty Python and the Holy Grail. While the book is admittedly better, Pride and Prejudice is definitely one of my favorites but Transformers and LOTR (again, the book is better) are right up there too. I also have to throw in Annie and Mary Poppins for old times sake.

After thinking about it some more I have to add The Matrix, Equilibrium, Anchorman (I'm Rob Burgundy?) and Hot Fuzz.

If I exclude Star Wars, Equilibrium and The Count of Monte Cristo are by far my favorite movies.

At the moment, I'd have to say that my favorite movie is Requiem for a Dream. It's just such a powerful movie with a powerful message. I'd highly suggest that you don't read any reviews, maybe just a quick plot synopsis if even that, and that you either go to the video store to rent it, or go to iTunes to rent it. Don't worry about it saying that it's the "Edited Version" on iTunes. They only cut out 7 seconds of footage, that aren't extremely important to the movie, so that it could be rated R instead of it being Unrated. I'll just suggest that you all watch it.
