My favorite movie is The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
Although I'll admit there are better movies out there I just enjoy it so much and it's a huge inspiration for me.

to many but mine's between the blues brothers and thunderbolt and lightfoot old clinteast wood movie with the guy from the big lebowski/the dude who looks really really young -_-

This is one of my fav animated or anime movies i have seen That movie is Grave of fireflys. eveybody find this movie and rent it on Blockbuster, Netfilx or whatever just see this movie!

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid The Usual Suspects Shawshank Redemption Independence Day Varsity Blues (I was one of the high school football kids, its just kinda nostalgic haha)
...I could probably make a top 10 or 20, but if I had to boil it down, these would be the essentials...

I really don't have an overall favorite, but, for this year anyway, the best movie I've seen this year has to be In the Valley of Elah. If it gets snubbed during the Oscars, I will boycott them for good.
Michael Clayton was also really superb.
