I have to add a few more now: Happy Feet (just look at that avatar) Children of Men (so perfect it left me in shock) The Prestige (almost as screwed up as the book and well I LOVE Christian Bale) I loved the prestige ;D EXALT!

ah man Silent Bob, you reminded me of DOGMA! I loooove that movie. Jason Lee is fantastic, as is, well, pretty much everyone and everything else ;D
Some really good recent movies are Pan's Labyrinth and The Departed. Pan's has gorgeous (er, hideous?) special effects, and is, well, just a terrific movie in general.

I'm a huge Tarantino fan...one of my all time favorites of his is Kill Bill. I should buy the DVDs, but I caught it on TV and its funnier hearing what words they come up with to censor all the f bombs and such.

My favorite movie is a toss up between Pulp Fiction and Blade Runner.

Terminator 2 Aliens Die hard (for now- aren't they making a new one?) The Return of the King (I always cry at the end!) Gallipoli (I have to have at least one Australian in there) The Matrix (I know, I'm stuck in the late 90s) Strictly Ballroom Romeo and Juliet Moulin Rouge (Baz Lurhmann is getting a good work out)
And way too many more to mention...

I've gotta go with:
1) Star Wars (IV-VI) I never get tired of watching those
2) Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas Johnny on drugs, cracking my butt up!
3) V for Vendetta what can I say, in the times we're living in, I just needed this movie.
4) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind I loved this movie when it came out. To see a love story in reverse is genius!
5) Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid Saved my favorite for last. What can i say about this movie. It's the first movie in history when the audience roots for the bad guys. Great sarcastic humor, great story, great music, oh and two of the greatest actors of all time, Paul Newman and Robert Redford.
