After the father-son bonding that we've seen lately, the Adamas at each other's throats seemed somewhat contrived to me. I did, however, enjoy seeing all the characters all screwed up. That's why it hasn't been hitting on all cylinders lately. Everything was going so good. As I was getting caught up, I'd always think "Come on, not another disaster." But without disaster, there's no drama. Man, how good is Michael Hogan's acting?
This is my theory on Starbuck- she will be found but after going through a wormhole, she'll be a different actress. Maybe a younger or older character. Starbuck will be back but as what actor? I think I heard Michael Ausiello say Katee Sackhoff is being cast in The Bionic Woman.

Wow! I thought last nights finale was awesome! Espcially the last 15 minutes, I cannot believe we have to wait until 2008 for it to start again!!!

I loved the episode. The funny thing was, for the first 40 minutes, it was great, but it just didn't seem like season ending matteral great. I mean, ti wasn't as great as some of the other seasn ends on BSG. But the last 20 minutes were outstanding.

Personaly, I felt kind of like they rushed it. I would've liked it mroe i f they had drawn out the music thing in the show. It seemed like a secondary plot in this last episode. It was almost like a B story. Why not elimnate the woman king, have the end of the trial in another episode, and have the music part drawn out for two or three episodes, have more Dee too, THEN have it take the frontliner in the last episode?

Of course, that last scene just redeemed everything hahahah.

I think you should't forget that it wasn't a stand alone episode and was just the other half. I liked that scene at the beginning with Laura and Adama ;D and also Lee's Baltar saving speech on the stand. It's going to be very interesting watching the ramifications of Baltar's verdict next season...but I don't think it was rushed. I know a lot of people here think his trial dragged on for too long anyways so I'm glad they got that over with before moving on next season. I think the music plot ended here with a great climax with them all coming together, I still don't buy Tigh as a Cylon but I like the twist. Should have seen that coming. But more importantly - Kara lives!

And now I'm going to have "All Along the Watchtower" stuck in my head all year.

No, its jsut my main problem with the season was just that there was not much build up with the music plot, or the "Woman King", or the class swicthuation on the ship, or the fact that Adama's wife shows up and talks to him once a year. Again, great season, its just slipped a bit.

I also think that next year they'll find earth. I am pretty certain , unfortunitly, that this will be theri final season.

The sad part fo it is we have to wati a frakin year

O my frakkin gods! I loved that last episode. I agree it was kind of slow at the start, but the end was AMAZING. I think BSG has the best season finales/cliff hangers than any other show.

So I take it I am the only one who loved the first two acts of the show, but fel t like it didn't get really eeason ender matterial untill act three, when Beltar's trial ended? oh well lol.

I´m into my personal re-run already, and its amazing to see the "to be cylons" interact in almost every scene.
I can only refer back to my crackpot BSG theory and am actually convinced about certain things being this way.

I will also DL all the commentaries, cause I like the voice of misses Ron a lot

Something small for the fans of Helo I discovered recently:

He is part of the Need for speed PS3 game ,appearently kind of guiding the player ;

However I´ve seen only a brief vid sequenz and found myself surprised (kinda missing Athena even)
It may be a short appearence only, or more, I`m sure there is info out in the web about this.

I just read some news the Kevin Smith is going to direct an episode of BSG this final season:

I'm a fan of both parties, but I didn't ever expect to see Kevin Smith direct this show. I'm not too worried because a show like this is pretty set on how the show is shot. This also makes the 3rd TV direction job for him this year (The Reaper pilot and the first of the Heroes: Origins story)

Edit: It seems that due to scheduling conflicts that Kevin Smith won't be able to direct an episode. Oh well.
