OK since this thread is a standard among message boards i figured we need one too. Top 5 bands show em.
1. Led Zeppelin (need i say more)
2. Queens of the Stone Age (keeping the ROCK in Rock'n'Roll)
3. The Mars Volta (quickly climbing my fav bands list)
4. Pink Floyd (standard top five material)
5. Fleetwood Mac (my guilty pleasure)

(in no paticular order)
1. Simon & Garfunkel (I love love love them with a fiery passion)
2. Beatles (I'm wearing a Beatles t-shirt right now.)
3. Bob Dylan (Picking up on a theme here?)
4. David Byrne/Talking Heads (I love the Talking Heads but 'Look Into the Eyeball' is my favorite David Byrne album, even if it is solo)
5. Adam Ant (My very guilty pleasure)

hmm. mine aren't even *close* to any of the ones you've listed....
in no particular order:
The Cure
Pixies
They Might Be Giants
Franz Ferdinand
U2
although this list is pretty fluid. I can't say from one day to the next - maybe Cracker, or Muddy Waters, or The Killers might be on it..

hmm. mine aren't even *close* to any of the ones you've listed.... in no particular order: The Cure Pixies They Might Be Giants Franz Ferdinand U2 although this list is pretty fluid. I can't say from one day to the next - maybe Cracker, or Muddy Waters, or The Killers might be on it.. Another Pixies fan. Sweet. My top fhive~(IN order.) 1.GORILLAZ(Just...my favorite band ever. EVER!) 2.Led Zep(And shes buyyyyying a Staiiirrway...to..Heaven...) 3.Police(The reason why I tell people 'Dont Stand so Close to Me!') 4.Pixies(Um...well...the Pixies!) 5.Red Hot Chili Peppers.(When they say Red Hot, they mean it.) Dude, Jack, i would put DriveShaft, but...um...I havent heard any of their music. If I had, they'd be up there. Btw, theBeatles go without saying. |

my kids make me listen to their music when we're out and about
I have three kids with completely different tastes in music
so I get to listen to everything from rap crap
to The Cure , the Pixies and :::shudder::::Marilyn Manson
to ::::even bigger shudder ::::: Hillary Duff
I tend to like one named acts
Elton, Sting, Cher, Madonna

Hmm...I don't think I can name 5 bands that I like because I usually only listen to instrumental movie or video game soundtracks.
Some groups that I like though: Blue Man Group, E.S. Posthumus, Nightwish, Freedom Call
