Ok. I know we all love Lost, etc.
But there are certain things that just bug me about it.
I'll list the ones I've noticed (even though one of them is mentioned in the new Official Podcast) and see what you guys think.
1. In The Other 48 Days, Ana Lucia confronts Goodwin near the end of the episode and mentions that he wasn't wet like the rest of the survivors; he came from the direction of the jungle, and it dawns on her that he wasn't one of them.
At first, I was like "yeah! How come he wasn't on the beach too?!"
Then I got to thinking about it. Uh...Bernard wasn't on the beach either; he was dry as a bone sitting in the tree. Who's to say that Goodwin wouldn't have found himself in a similar situation?
Obviously we know he's an Other now, but at the time if you think about it, Ana Lucia's leap of logic there isn't really logical at all.
2. Why did they spend so much bloody time trying to open the hatch, when there was a hidden back door not very far away? (granted both Carlton and Damon have said...well, they were busted. It's a stupid mistake).
there are other things, but that's my list so far. What do you think?

As far as the second one goes, I don't see how they would have known that there would be another entrance to the inside of the hatch. Heck, they didn't even know what was in the hatch, where it would lead, or what it even was, so it would definitely be a bit odd if they thought "Hey! Let's try to look for another entrance to this thing".
Meh. Maybe I'm just in denial. I'll come up with a list of my own once I finish listening to the new ABC podcast.

I hate all those little things too. Like when they (Eko and Jin) find Goodwin dead, the area is actually more wooded and different from the spot where he and Ana Lucia fought, and he was killed.

yeah - that one was coming up on a later list. Another one I have is one Jay actually has mentioned a couple times....why are the wigs in the flashbacks so AWFUL?! ;D

Nah, I thought Locke had a d**n good wig. As for everyone else, that's up for you to decide.

I was mostly talking about Boone and Jack.

I was mostly talking about Boone and Jack. Heh, I never did like Boone or Jack's hair in those flashbacks, but I didn't really notice anything glaring. But then again, I have the laziest of eyes.

I thought the same thing about Ana Lucia's logic for uncovering Goodwin as the plant. What? Bernard was dry. He could have climbed out of his seat and joined the people on the beach. Why couldn't Goodwin?

I agree. Those little things tend to drive you nuts!

Maybe they were trying to show us that it is an Ana Lucia's trait to come to the right conclusions but through faulty thinking. Her faulty logic is going to trip her up sometime, like it did with Shannon. "Noise in the bushes. Must be Them. I'll shoot."
And if we didn't get it, Libby pointed it out to us, too. "You have bad judgement, Ana."

Not many things on my bug list actually.. hm.. wigs werent too great, but i can live with them. Locke's one was nice enough. ah mayb there is something: sometimes the survivors get into conversations, that could lead to major plot answers, but they just keep asking like this unnesecairy questions, skipping the obvious ones that we crave for Can't really think of an example right now, but it's just a tought about Lost that i had when viewing the eps. ah yeah, Dannielle doesn't get interrogated enough, when they meet her. Surely she has lots of answers. Show them that radio tower already, for instance That's about all i can think of right now. Lost rox! whoohooow, tomorrow's the big day!! we will know more about that instant messasing bit and who the internet service provider is for Ze Hatch. (it's actually a bunker not a hatch, like many said angrily, but the heck with it, we'll change the meaning of words this year )

1. I think Ana-Lucia figured Goodwin was just too d**n competent to be a tailie. Both he and Bernard were in the forest, but it'd be tough to mistake Bernard for an Other. I think Ana-Lucia made up her mind after Nathan disappeared.
2. This is something they definitely should've spent more time on - explained that the main door was disguised, or something. As a matter of fact, I think the writers should spend a little time on the layout of the island; the viewers should be familiar with it like a neighbourhood.

They make it up as they go along. I think they only have the main outlines and the incidental stuff is basically improvised so they make mistakes here and there. Different people write different episodes.

Yeah, nobody is perfect, even on TV.
