They make it up as they go along. I think they only have the main outlines and the incidental stuff is basically improvised so they make mistakes here and there. Different people write different episodes. I wouldn't say they make it up exactly. They do have the main outlines, and they have a particular direction they want to go with it, but everything in between is up for debate. For example, they have several checkpoint events, and in between these checkpoints is where they collaborate on what to do. At least that's how I've always seen it. But from what I understand, they didn't even decide what was in the hatch until after the season finale aired. So yeah. It's hard to tell and it's not like the writers would admit "hey guyz we make it up as we goo lol".

ok few things....well they don't really bug me, they're just things I've noticed about Jack.
one actually my dad pointed out. there's always light shining through his ears! all the time! every episode!!
also (my sister and I noticed this) is that when Jacks talking to someone and is being really serious, he shakes his head slightly.
these don't really bother me, it's just fun to laugh at them!

Yes, I have noticed the head movements when he's concerned or upset, he did that a lot in Party of Five too, it's his thing I guess.

Every actor has their "trademark". Like Kate starts looking a bit like an angry dog when she hears something shocking. And Shannon used to open her mouth slightly all the time. It's fun pointing them out. ;D

What are the last whereabouts of the remaining dynamite? Wasnt Hurley the last one to handle it, when he intended to blow up the food storage? I hope they'll find another dramatic use for it

They probably will. Kate will probably use it to blow somebody up.

It wouldn't surprise me at this point.

If Lost is indeed like The Stand, there might be some final confrontation at the Black Rock, and Kate may blow up the entire ship full of dynamite.
That could be cool.

Boy, I hope it's not like The Stand. I hated that nonsense.

Me, too, but the producers must have liked it.

I've got something that bugs me (and I think Jay agrees). What happened to the fabulous theme music of last season!?

dunno. Perhaps Mr. Giacchino used it all up when he did The Incredibles.

Well, it's my picture of an angry dog anyhow. Her eyes narrow and she does this little head twitch. In my mind, you can just see her hackles going up.
