There has been a number of comments on the boards lately that Damon and Carlton have lied to us. I'm curious as to what those lies are, as it would be useful to go back and see exactly what was said. I'm reminded of Michael Emerson where if you go back and listen to his interviews, he is very, very careful. To the casual listener it may sound like he has confirmed/denied something, but if you re-listen with hindsight, he left a back door open.
So, does anyone have any specific podcasts, interviews, etc wherein Damon and Carlton lied to us?

I don't know the exact podcast, but in one of them, they said that (paraphrasing) "once you're dead, you're dead." And then they brought Locke back to life. '

' How do you know that Locke was really dead in that coffin? I think that comment was more related to maybe Boone, or Shannon. If you die on the island, there is no coming back. The island has magical powers you know. Did you see Christian Shepard in that morgue and then walking around in "White Rabbit"?

See, I thought they said that those who die ON THE ISLAND remain dead. Locke and Christian didn't die on the island.

Did you see Christian Shepard in that morgue and then walking around in "White Rabbit"? That's exactly my point: Christian died, and yet is no longer dead, just like Locke. As for Locke being dead in the coffin, we actually watched Ben kill him. He strangled him with an extension cord and then hung him by his neck and left him for the cops to find. There is no surviving that. Yet, there he is on the island, eating a mango from Ceasar, as alive as can be. ***And who keeps smiting me? That's starting to make me mad....***

One exception is all it takes to disprove a rule. If you lie once, you're a liar.

I still don't think they are liars. I think they just word things very carefully. As I said above, they said those who die ON the island stay dead and that hasn't been disproven, has it?

No, but I don't believe they stipulated "on the island." They just said "once you're dead, you're dead." If anyone knows exactly which podcast this was, I'd love to review it to find out for sure. I've been going by secondhand accounts from other podcasts, and I'd like to get the primary source.

Someone find the place where they said "no time travel" I was told they said that but I have no proof.

They are producers of a show, not leaders of the free world. Wether or not they lie is immaterial. They must keep the story lines secret for the good of the show, to blame them for that seems to be a bit much.

I'm interested in whether or not they do lie only insofar as it affects whether or not we can consider interviews with them to be canon.
