Jay & I just saw the midnight showing of it in NYC. We liked. I thought that there could have been a teeny tiny bit less non-stop action a little bit more plot about the Crystal Skull legend/mythology itself, but it had great chemistry between the actors and good humor.
The only thing that made me go "ehhhh" was Shia LeBeouf swinging from the trees and getting help from the monkey-ewoks. Everything else I could suspend disbelief because it was Indy.

Just bought my tix for tomorrow night and am also going on Mon morning. I almost went again today too, but decided I better get a little sleep since I didn't get home until after 3 am and will be at a late showing tomorrow night and have to work early on Sat. Harrison Ford is still hot!

For people who've seen it: did the all-CGI bother you? I really wanna love this movie when I see it tomorrow, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up because I've read some pretty bad reviews...

Thank goodness. I'm glad. I still don't get how CGI could ruin a movie though. The story is what matters anyways.

No the cgi isn't a large part of it. It's mainly still action-adventure and humor.

Just got back from INDY! I have to say, I liked it! I give it a B+. Yes, there were a few unbelieveable effects and a couple of cheezy lines and stunts, but hey, it's an action movie. Overall, it held up pretty well as a movie, although I was distracted by a couple of really annoying background actors. I will know for sure after my second viewing.

I enjoyed the second time since you can pick up on details. The first viewing there is so much to take in, you miss the little things. I am going for the third time on Monday.

Okay that was weird... The first two hours I loved and then in the last part it was like.. WHAT? Aliens??? I dunno. It's just a lot different from the other ones. I still liked it, and I'll see it again.

Umm, you might want to hide that last part so as not to spoil anyone who hasn't seen it since it is a key plot point.
