I get scared by previews - I don't want it to be to CGI-intensive

Same here. I have no idea when I'm going to get to see it. I need some Indy action now. The old movies won't suffice until I see this new one.

Lucky, lucky, lucky. Jana, if you're able to go to the midnight showing, you'd better give me a review.

I'm VERY VERY worried! I saw a preview for it last night on Letterman and it showed a lot of CGI scenes. I sure hope GL didn't ruin this.
Wishing for great reviews and hoping the best ever!

How could CGI ruin a movie? It's still Indiana Jones. Get psyched! It's the first one in 19 years! Be excited! ;D

Not to be Debbie Downer...(cue the music). But CGI is what ruined the Star Wars I-III. In Star Wars IV-VI, just like Indiana Jones I-III George Lucas used puppets, models & real sets to tell his stories. However, in Star Wars I-III he went to a strickly CGI set environment, characters and crafts, thus giving the actors NO true physical objects to give them any kind of reaction to what they were doing. So, CGI made it harder for them to act because there was nothing to act to. That's why Star Wars EPs I-III is void of any kind of true acting or humor, that's why they aren't as good. Thus, that's how CGI can ruin a movie.
Now, I'm not saying that Indy is already ruined. I'm was just saying I'm worried because I saw already a few CGI shots that looked a little over the top. I have some hope though in Steven Spielberg and that he knows what to do with these films. That being said, I'll let you know my review soon.

I actually thought that the Star Ward prequals were pretty good. Yeah, they weren't as good as the original trilogy, but they weren't horrible. Especially Revenge of the Sith. I still have faith. It'll still be good.

About 20 minutes to start time! No less than 3 tv stations covered our line while we were waiting to come in. Go figure.
