Dang! I haven't seen any of them. Make your parents take you to Blockbuster, and rent all of them. They are classics. You have a few weeks until Lost, you can watch this until then. Do it, do it now. ;D

"You're Abe Frohman, the Sausage King of Chicago?"
I've seen all of these fine films many many many (many) times, but Bueller stands out as the all around best.
Favorite part of each movie: 16C: Long Duk Dong in the tree WS: Chet "that's a serious behavioural disorder!" BC: any scene with Ally Sheedy in it FB: Charlie Sheen looking at his thumb PTA: "Those aren't pillows!" UB: Mile's interogation of Uncle Buck
And Jay, go see "Swing Shift". It's not good, but it's not bad.

As a child of the 80's, these all bring back great memories. It was a tough choice between Sixteen Candles and Ferris Bueller, but Bueller wins.
Anyone? Anyone?

Breakfast club was a great movie but not tooo funny. Uncle Buck was good, that was pretty funny. Sixteen Candles is good but not overally funny, Wierd Science is exactly what it is -wierd. I've never seen planes trains and automobiles so the clear winner for me is Ferris bueller although its painful to watch that car get destroyed.

You know what, Rainbow was right, this is a hard versus, but Im gonna have to go with the movie that impacted me the most, and that is Faris Buehler .
It was the first movie that I could watch more then once.

The 80s may be over, but the children of the 80s still remain. Long live "The Breakfast Club"! lacing up my pink high top sneakers...poppin' my collar....THANK GOD for Children of The 80's! I LOVE the 80's! Too Bad The Goonies wasn't on the list...that's one of my all time favorites!

I love this VS.! Such a hard choice! John Hughes is amazing and if you had to go through your teens without being able to relate to and laugh at his view of teen angst, I'm sorry for your loss.
If you grew up in the 80's and ever had to sit through Saturday School punishment, you're feelin' The Breakfast Club. What a great flick!
But in the end, what would the world be without Ferris? School skippers of the world, this is how it's done right! -- "When Pharaoh was in Egypt's land -- LET MY CAMERON GOOOO!"

I feel like I am jumping on a bandwagon by now, but I just finished listening to the podcast, and as Jack was debating his pick I was yelling at the ipod, "Ferris! Pick Ferris!!!! That's the easy win!
Seems like I am not alone in my opinion -- I have been out of school for a while now, and that day of skipping class is still my fantasy....
This is how I prefer to remember Matthew Broderick and Jennifer Grey (pre-nose job)...not to mention a fabulous cameo by Charlie Sheen (back when he was still hot)!
Thanks for a great vs.!
