*shakes his head in shame* I cannot believe you didn't ad "A Charlie Brown Xmas" Jay. Sratch that - didn't see TV special thread. My bad! Christmas Vacation wins this thread for me, hands down. "Fixed the Newel post!"

This is such a tough one. One is great comedy the other is a great feel-good movie. But, I have to go with Jay. It has to be It's a Wonderful Life. With A Christmas Story coming in a really close second.
I wish you would have put drama and comedy against each other, then it wouldn't have been so hard to pick. But you can't go wrong with either movie, they are both classics.

I have watched its a wonderful life like 7348567245684 times, and I still NEVER get sick of it! its a funny movie but it also has good lessons and all that jazz. "Look Daddy, Teacher says, 'Every time a bell rings an Angle gets his wings.'" "Thats right! that-a-boy Clarence, That-a-boy!" ;D ahhhhh I just can't even begin to descibe the wonderful-amazingness of this movie!!!!! Exalt charlie fan, because she really knows her classic movies

I just realized, that back in the 'first season' of the ramblecast (tv vs movies) I called in for movies and commented about classic actors (Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, Bogart, Stewart, etc...)...in fact I even did the "I wanna live Clarence".....yet I voted for A Christmas Story btw, I was getting a gift card for someone the other day in Walmart, and they had two gift card designs from A Christmas Story...tongue frozen to the pole, and Ralphie starting to go down the slide (just after being nudged by Santa's foot)

While we all dream of having a Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle...
it can't de-throne It's a Wonderful Life. Sorry Jack.

It's A Wonderful Life was my vote because it puts me in a great mood and is very uplifting. It makes you appreciate life even if it isn't always great.
