So after receiveing a 2 hour delay of school from a bomb threat, I went home and turned on the music channels. I heard the song Electric Gyspy by L.A. Guns and was llike "That is TOTALLY a Guitar Hero song!".

More vids! Tenacious D - "The Metal" www.youtube.com/watch?v=41TeYVNZ8B4Living Colour - "Cult of Personality" www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-AjmRnTYGg&mode=related&search=These show the new battle mode. It looks pretty awesome! Powerups appear to add more notes to the fret board (i.e. single notes become chords in this vid) and even flip the board (from right hand to left hand!) Also a few strange other powerups like having to hit a fret repetitively to keep playing or whammy a ton

+97!
Thanks for that Dez. I like how their finally adding more challenging things. Even some of the shake effects look like something you're gonna have to get used to. ;D
I wonder what the "boss battles" are gonna look like...

Some members of Scorehero got to go to Neversoft and play the ENTIRE game! Not just a demo version! All the feedback they gave was positive.
The new controller for the game will be much better than the Explorer from the 360 version. It feels more realistic, the whammy bar is flawless, and they moved the select button back into place ;D
It sounds like there will be three "boss battles," including the one with Slash we already know about. The other two involve a real guitarist and one that Neversoft made up.
The songs themselves have new note patterns and riffs. Apparently "Knights of Cydonia" was a hit with everyone because of this. Hammer-Ons and Pull-Offs were also changed so they mimic HOs /POs on real guitar, rather than the timing
They said that "Through the Fire and Flames" is a bonus song, rather than a career song. This is a relief because nobody from Scorehero (keep in mind these are the top players) could pass 3% of the song on their first 5 to 10 tries. Only one person managed after much practice.
They also said that "Suck My Kiss" by Red Hot Chili Peppers and "Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden are in the game. Both awesome ;D

More songs!!! xbox360.ign.com/articles/810/810113p1.htmlMiss Murder (by AFI) Through Fire and Flames (by Dragonforce) Number of the Beast (by Iron Maiden) 3's and 7's (by Queens of the Stone Age) Suck My Kiss (by Red Hot Chili Peppers) Raining Blood (by Slayer) Reptillia (by The Strokes) Paranoid (as made famous by Black Sabbath) Cities on Flame (as made famous by Blue Oyster Cult) Mississippi Queen (as made famous by Mountain) La Grange (as made famous by ZZ Top) This makes 7 new ones in addition to the 4 confirmed by Scorehero Heh...Slayer, Black Sabbath, Queens of the Stone Age, and even AFI...good picks It's just too bad they didn't use AFI's "Totalimmortal" - that would have been amazing (their old stuff is much better suited)
