Anyone else get GH2 for the xbox this week? We got it Tuesday. I'm so bad I got the achievement for failing a song on easy! Hubby's pretty good, I told him he's my Geek-tar hero. (yes I know, pretty lame but what else can I saw when two grown adults are playing with a fake plastic guitar in front of the huge tv screen?)
I was wondering if anyone had the list of the songs that are going to be downloadable on XBox Live, I hear they start coming out next week.

I'm not gonna unlock that one since I would have to fail on purpose  So how do you like it? Addicted yet? As for the downloadable songs, I know for sure that three songs from Guitar Hero I will be avaliable Bark at the Moon (YES!) Higher Ground (YES!) Stellar (YES!) There are rumored songs such as "Halo Theme: Mjolnir Mix" (and I wish they would put up an Offspring song for download...) These songs will have the bass or rhythm guitars as the second player, which is especially great for Higher Ground Only wish they brought Cowboys from Hell because the upgraded HOs/POs would help tremendously...but I can always hope! What are the other achievements by the way? I heard about note streaks and high scores...some of which can only be done on about 3-5 songs if I read the numbers correctly |

Rumored Halo Theme!? OMG!!! Yeah I'm addicted now, I told you on myspace I've gotten tons of achievements.. like.. getting 100%. on a song.. playing left handed.. theres one for doing the song Jordan (I think thats the one) on expert but not even my brother can get that (yet). One for buying all the songs.. getting over 100k..200k..300k..400k on a song.. beating each difficulty career.. lets see.. Lennon and McCartney Award... Joan and Lita Award...Edie Van Halen Award.. Yngwie Malmsteen Award.. well I've got 22 out of 50. |

theres one for doing the song Jordan (I think thats the one) on expert but not even my brother can get that (yet) That one is impossible. I've tried forever to beat it on the PS2, but no luck. Go for that one last, because by the time you get all the others, you will stand at least more of a chance (probably fail at 55% rather than 45% haha) Nice work on getting those others. Lefty-flip sounds fun ;D |

Ah my brothers friend got a lot of the achievements for me. He was tying to unlock pro face-off mode so we could play. Dueling is sooooo fun( until i mess up )! Yesterday me and a friend were trying to co-op The Trooper on Medium. I still cant quite think that fast.. |

ha ha! I just realized the other night I was holding the guitar with my left hand on the frits and I'm right handed! Maybe I'll do better when I actually use my dominant hand to do the hard part. (it's not my total fault, hubby was using it that way too and told me to hold it that way)
Now I have to try again, maybe I won't fail this time.
A Halo theme song would be cool.

I didn't think it mattered which way you held it, but I switch off now it pays off for 360 achievements!? Pssh...
They've got some good songs on the new one too...I wanna play "Hush" and "Life Wasted" and Maiden's "The Trooper"!!

Actually, if you are right handed you should have the frets in your left hand. At least thats what Blaw told me haha. It also helps because with Expert songs like Misirlou that require fast strumming, your dominant hand will last longer
I'm also dying to play "The Trooper." My friend already got the game and says its his favorite ;D

Sorry Blaw, I'm not having any luck finding it. I know you told me though, because I felt like an idiot asking about it
Oh, and my 360 was fixed. And by fixed, I mean they had us go out and buy another one. So my hard drive never came back. Shows how great Microsoft is...

My 8 year old wouldn't tell me goodbye when I left her at her grandparent's house last night because she was so wrapped up in GH2. She's probably mastered it by now.  |

yeah, I know but my left hand if so uncoordinated it's crazy. Sad too because I spent 10 years playing percussion in school. Guess I'll just have to flip and go into practice mode and slow the songs wayyyyyy down to learn how to play correctly.
