does anyone know any info on the lost game? will it be on the wii? it's the only console i could afford, and i can't fork over any more money just to play a lost game. not a big PC gamer.
i heard that it will have somewhat of a separate story than the TV show, that will tie in with the series, and that it will introduce new characters that will later be on the TV show. my theory is that it will either be about penny and her team, or the other's distant past. maybe their relationship w/ dharma will be revealed. as long as you don't play as Rachel Blake, or joop, I'll like it.

well there isnt a lot of information surrounding it at the moment.this is all the wikipedia article says at the moment On 22 May 2006, Ubisoft announced that they had licensed the rights from Touchstone Television to create a video game based on Lost planned for release in 2007.[1] The game will be different from the TV series as Ubisoft will add extra missions and stories that are not in the TV series to expand the amount of playable content. Stu Redman head CEO of Ubisoft was stated in an interview "The game is going to be released around late May" Mr. Redman goes on to say that the gameplay will be "a fresh mix of RPG and FPS" as you progress through the game your prize will be LOST locations and characters. Redman stats that “we’ll just have to wait and see” when asked about when the game takes place, “perhaps before the plane crash or maybe after, who knows” and yes i think its coming out on wii theres also a mobile game thats out now www.gameloft.com/lost-mobile-game/ |

hmmm it shouldn't take a too drastic angle in terms of how its different from the show - people are going to buy it because they like the show - sure, they don't wanna be doing stuff that is exactly the same as in the show, they need to keep it fresh, but if its too different then the consumers won't be happy

there IS a Lost Video Game out right now, but it's only available on cell phones on select services.
it's not very good, so don't waste $7 on it.
can't wait for the REAL one.

.... I dunno if I'd buy one just yet... with other game tie-ins, the end game is usually known, but with Lost, the plot is still being uncovered. I'd probably only be interested by the game that comes out with, say, the final series. Marketers have usually gone with games that give you extra clues and insights into the show (take The Matrix: the path of Neo, or The Hulk) and have secret easter eggs with never before seen footage and clues.
At the moment, anything like that would only be worth it if it only came with some really big spoilers.

Lostgame.com will be the URL for the game - but it isn't live yet.
Also, I posted a link of in game footage - it sounds like you can choose your lost character to play - ala Jack/Locke/etc.

They showed a clip of it yesterday at the lost panel. It looked to me as you play as Jack and you can explore some of the same areas as you see on the show.

JACK?! LAME. You should be able to make your own character, like you could be a log carrier or something. I mean, for story purposes the game could set you as one of the main characters (or have you chose one), but for other stuff, I think customization would be a cool way to go.
