Well there is nothing I can do about it. And it only looked as if you played as Jack. It is not confirmed if you can play only as him or not.

you what would be totally awsome if u can like go around and be one of losties back when the plane landed and know whats going to happen so can kill MICHEAL, or BEN, EATHAN, TOM, and for god sakes SAVE BOONE, maybe talk to locke about his father problems and lil demolation problems as well

There is a write up in the lastest EGM (#220 Oct 2007). You play the role of Elliot, who has amnesia. The game will play in episodes (seven of them) including the previously on Lost segments and cliffhangers and covers the show from the beginning. I'm not sure if it goes into season 4 at all. The game is due to come out around when season 4 starts, but won't answer any of the big questions of the show.
