Cool. I think this may only apply to Japan though. They didn't mention any US prices, and that Virtual Console bundle would be sweet.

Good idea, Scott. I just heard the IGN game podcast, and I agree with then that Nintendo will deliver with living up to its promise to provide an ample sum available at launch that it may not be necessary to preorder. I'm not saying I wouldn't or that people don't want Wiis, because I'm planning to get one at launch. I'm not exactly planning to camp out at Best Buy or something, but c'mon. College students need their sleep.... ;D There SHOULD be plenty Wii to go around on Nov. 19. "Should" being the key word there. I'm optimistic. I also found this awesome link with many pics of a Wiimote used for televisions and not for the Wii or its games, just designed to look like the Wii's remote controller. I'm not sure if they will be available here in the States, but I'd get one. wii.ign.com/articles/738/738812p1.html

I am gonna probably buy mine on opening day. At our EB Games/Gamestop, they split the number of systems they are gonna get down the middle, using half of them for preorders and the other half for walkins. That means only one thing: CAMPOUT!

I could see it getting really confusing if you had that and an actual Wii-mote.

Kids in my Algebra class were talking about how they got their moms to line up for them to get a pre-order. Pretty hard-core fans.

Yeah, it doesn't do alot of stuff that a real remote will do. Kinda like the lightsaber remote that my dad bought a long time ago.
