It's only a matter of time Blaw. If Reggie Fils-Aime can get a grandma to play a game, he can take on those publishers for GTA or any other Mature rated game publishers. I'm actually hoping its not coming to the Wii. I just keep thinking of John Noe and the spells he could do in GTA:PD....

Hahaha he would be running through the streets yelling expelliarmus! Cars blow up, people go flying through the air, and he starts to get chased by cops. Such a funny picture.

I thought he'd be getting chased by drunken wizards or corrupt Ministry officials. I'll leave all the ways you can twist around Diagon Alley to you...

UbiSoft, the publisher of one of the most anticipated games for the Wii, Red Steel, has just released the box art for the game. It looks awesome! Swords, guns, Japanese Yakuza's. What more could you ask for from the first game custom built for the Wii?

There's a neat game coming out for the Wii called 'Trama Center'. I saw a 4 min. trailer of it on IGN and it looks cool. You have to perform certain surgeries and it looks kinda stressful too. wii.ign.com/articles/737/737004p1.htmlCheck out the trailer, its in the vid section.

That's excellent news! Thanks for posting that, but I wonder how much it'll cost or if comes with the Wii at launch. I don't know too much about WiFi, but I have an internet connection now through a cable modem, and if the Wii uses WiFi, then this wireless router in the kit would give you the WiFi support that they give, right?

Just so you Wii people know, that image is misleading. I know Nintendo is incorperating real time movement into games with the new controller, but its not exact. Not yet. Any gamer could swing that sword, but truthfully, when your playing the new LoZ, you can't actually swing the wiimote and expect Link to do EXACTLY what you did. I know, from the videos it looks cool, but its very misleading, or that guy throwing himself off a couch like he's shooting aliens in the new Metroid - uh, no. I don't mean to say LoZ will suck because of this, but I'm just noting what people have said about getting their hands on it. Many, if not all, have said its brilliant. And I believe them. Nintendo has probably invested more time with this game than ANY title so far. And you dont point the remote directly at the TV, there's a sensor to pick up the remote's data. I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but that pic made me realize the reality of the actual remote But...what would make that pic look even better if it was attached to a samurai's sword for Red Steel.

some new wii news Nintendo's winter games Wednesday 11-Oct-2006 10:31 AM Japanese conference reveals latest Wii details, and plans to sell GameCube Twilight Princess exclusively online
Nintendo's monthly Japanese conference reveals winter line-up as well as a smidgen of new Wii and DS information.
18 games will go on sale for the Wii in Japan this year, 16 of which will be available alongside the console on its December 2nd launch.
Apparently, Nintendo's marketing department is following the same strategy as it did with the DS, trying to capture a new audience of non-gamers in much the same way it did with its dual-screen handheld.
In addition to announcing that Big Brain Academy will appear on Wii next spring, top games bloke Shigeru Miyamoto plans to release a "health pack" for the Wii, saying that he wants to get the whole family using the console every day to manage their health and perform exercises. We don't like the sound of that; where's our kebab trainer?
The line-up of Wii accessories was also discussed, with the usual array of video cables (composite, s-video, component and Japan's D-terminal) making the list, along with a LAN adaptor for 2800 yen (12.6 GBP) and a 512 SD memory card for 3800 yen (17 GBP).
Elaborating on its much-touted Virtual Console, Nintendo plans to have 30 titles from the Famicom, Super Famicom and Nintendo 64 consoles available by the end of the year, with another 30 from the Mega Drive and PC Engine formats, although it didn't reveal any specific games.
Pricing will range from 500 (2.25 GBP) to 1000 yen (4.5 GBP) and points cards of the 1000, 3000 and 5000 varitety will be available in store, with the latter coming bundled with a free classic controller.
Interestingly, Nintendo also confirmed it will be using similar delivery methods to the Virtual console to bring "Compact Software" to Wii. Although details are still sparse, this will apparently be Wii software available for download for lower than regularly published games. Should Xbox Live Arcade be worried?
Moving on to DS, a new piece of cooking software was also revealed, following-up the success of the recently-released Talking! Cooking DS Navi which has sold over half a million copies.
DS Complete Menu Collection is a collaboration with cooking mag publisher Orange Page, and will release alongside a bizarre magnet stand that will allow budding-chefs to stick their DSs to the fridge. Finally we can show off our Picto Chat are to the whole family.
Finishing off with its almost-dead GameCube, Nintendo decided that the GameCube version of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will only be sold on Nintendo's online store, perhaps looking to avoid confusion at retail. well that could be bad news for people who want the gamecube version of twilight princess.thats cool about the free classic controller with the 5000 point card though
