What is the official language of Belgium, wesh? Is it French. I remember Hercule Poirot spoke French.

Well Belgium is kinda bi-langual, since it's split up in to parts (well it's far more complicated then just 2 parts, but i'm not sure i understand that myself ), so 2 parts: Flanders and Wallon; first one speaks flemish (that's dutch) and the latter speaks french. yup he spoke french indeed. I liked those books, always a good plot and the author was great. Forgother name though... darnit. was it margret or something?

Agatha Christie. If you haven't seen the recent TV shows with David Suchet as Poirot, they are well done. They're just called "Poirot."

It's great to see so many multi-lingual people here. Well, I speak english (mixed with some californian ebonics). I also speak Italian ... I used to be more fluent at it when I lived in southern Italy for a couple of years and I majored in it in college, but I have lost some of my skills since I don't use it much any more. I also speak many hawaiian words, not fluent conversation ... and I speak the hawaiian dialect, pidgin.

Wow. We have some well educated people. Italian. So you majored in Italian and ended up going to Med School? Not the ususal track.

yeah, kind of an odd approach ... but it was nice to spend time in the humanities rather than in the other science classes with all the "cut-throat" pre-med students
