It's possible, but unlikely. Florida is still ahead of nd in the bcs standings, and rutgers will jump them should usc lose, because the computer loves rutgers (it has them #2, behind michigan and ahead of osu) and theyre undefeated. so you'll have to hope for rutgers, osu, and florida to all lose if ya want nd in. altho the road victory over usc could certainly boost them over rutgers in the comp poll, but florida will take over #2 in the coaches/ap poll

Yeah I figured as much. I think #5 is very generous but I'm not complaining. I am not the biggest OSU fan but they are a machine.

the bcs loves notre dame, they beat usc and they will highly coveted by the big bowl games if they dont squeak into that national championship game. the polls do not want to move florida up anywhere with that close win over SC and only garbage left before the SEC championship. i'd be more worried about arkansas just behind ND than florida right now.

hhooo raaaah. what a game. Very high-scoring for an OSU-michigan game, but a great game by anyone's standards. We're goin to glendale wooot wooooooooooooooooooooot. Troy had yet another amazing performance, and became just the 2nd osu qb to win 3 games against michigan.

idk. i dont think the same 2 teams should face 2 games in a row. it seems totally unfair to the bucks. look at what happened with florida/florida state. looks like it'll happen tho, unless usc can put a whoopin on notre dame. theyll need a good 14-21 point margin to have a shot at gettin in the championchip

the bcs championship should be the two best teams, its that simple and everyone agrees michigan is the second best team. go norte dame!

but i dont think it's fair to ask any team to beat another team twice in a row. both pro and college, thats something that rarely happens. OSU already beat michigan once.
Go Trojans
