After my usual 12+ hours of football coverage viewing, and losing my voice at my team's game, I am pretty happy. My team (Georgia) handed Steve Spurrier (coach of South Carolina) his first shut out since 1987. Sweet victory for Georgia fans since we had a tough time with him when he coached Florida. Gooooo Dawgs!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Georgia 18 South Carolina 0
How about everyone else? How did your teams do? Most of the top ranked teams won, some by blow outs and some by the skin of their teeth.

Good for Georgia A good friend of mine went to UGA, so I hold a special place for them in my football loving heart. And Steve Spurrier As a Gator-hater, I always like to see him squirm... Speaking of Gators...they beat my team today, 42-0 in the Swamp But UCF has never played them before, so it was still exciting b/c the football program at my school has grown so much since I've been there. And last, and most depressing: Texas vs. Ohio State....man, the UT receivers really dropped the ball tonight...pun intended

Exalt to DOD for: 1) being a fellow football fan 2) for having a special place in your heart for Georgia 3) for knowing/understanding hatred of the Gators/Spurrier 4) in consolation for losing to the Gators (our biggest stumbling block, btw) 5) for her football program's advancement to the "big time". +100 (good number, even if it isn't one of THE numbers.) Wow, for having 5 reasons, I may have to exalt you at least one more time.

Yep, need to exalt DOD one more time. +101 (Sorry Jack.) P.S. Btw, DOD, we made Spurrier throw his visor AT LEAST 2 times <g>.

oooo how bout them bucks beatin number 2 texas bigtime. Great game, I enjoyed watchin troy dominate. in fact, he's so good i think i might bring back my old Troy Smith avatar that every1 hated cuz they didn't know who he was :-D
Also cought the end of the syracuse game (i follow them cuz im always them in NCAA, even tho they suck). nearly beat iowa who's supposed to be a national championchip contender. tho they ended up getting 8 downs to go 3 yards and not getting in the endzone in double OT.
Bucks definately proved we're number 1 for a reason. I was shocked cuz i went to the game last week in cbus and our defense improved SO much since then. especially big #33 james larinitis (sp?). he's no AJ Hawk, but he made some great great plays. O-H!

Week 3 of football...anybody's teams have big games tomorrow? Georgia has a challenging game tomorrow, but not a conference game. Still important to win if we want to stay in the top 10 in the polls. Go Dawgs!!!

USF vs. UCF at 2:30 We have a nice state school rivalry going on with the Bulls and it will be a rowdy game at home, but I'm hoping my Golden Knights will pull through Good luck to Georgia and everyone else's teams ;D
