Ummm, I'm going against what seems to be the more popular vote and cheering for the Colts and the Saints. I chose the Colts mainly because I think Peyton Manning is cute. His commercials crack me up. And Brady is not cute? It's Peyton's commercials. He is so goofy that it is adorable. ;D I don't think I have seen a Tom Brady commercial, so I have less to go on with him.

Saints Colts ;D Though they had me worried there for a while. Largest come back in playoff history. Not too shabby.

I only disliked Peyton when he was in college (for obvious reasons), but now he is one of my faves. Right now he is my second favorite quarterback, first is Phillip Rivers, of course.

Saints Colts ;D Though they had me worried there for a while. Largest come back in playoff history. Not too shabby. yeah i dunno why they're saying that. im sure there've been a few 18 pt comebacks. for one, The Comeback was in the wildcard game which seems like it should be in the playoffs (93 wildcard game, houston was down by 32 in the 2nd half and won in OT). Also the 49ers came back from a 24 point deficit against the giants in the 03 playoffs. But it was a great game, kept me on the edge of my seat. Congrats to peyton, he really pulled it out and finally had a great game in the playoffs when his team needed him.

Last night's game was one of the most intense games I've ever watched. Finally, the Colts are going to the Super Bowl!

Win by over 3 touchdowns and you don't hear much around these parts. hmmmmm. The bears practiced all week in the cold outside in Chicago. The Saints? inside the nice comfortable Super Dome. impressive win by the Colts although I was really hoping for a Pats/Bears Super Bowl. I still think the Patriots are the better team. Peyton Manning is a great quarterback. He really showed his stuff in that game. Tom Brady is the better QB. If anyone wants to debate that I will respond to every comment with the following phrase: "3 Super Bowl Rings"

SuperBowl rings come from a team, not from a player. Peyton's 2 League MVPs are for players.

I will not argue that Tom Brady is not a great quarterback. However, I will say that just because a quarterback doesn't have a SuperBowl ring, he's not one of the best QB's in history, i.e. Dan Marino. Also, you don't hear about how many rings a running back has or a tight end. Instead, you look at stats.

true true, i'd take marino on my all-time team even tho he never won the big one. he still is in the top 3 in 30 different categories for qbs (http://www.nfl.com/history/randf/records/indiv/passing)
Marino also is one of only 6 players to achieve 2 consecutive 30-td seasons (manning nor brady have, tho manning went 29-49-28. Brady has NEVER had 30 tds in a season).
Who is another? man by the name of dan fouts, a hall-of-famer who spent his entire career in the superbowl era but never even WENT. He only got the chargers to the afc championchip twice.

You know I could argue that stats really don't mean anything. What means something is when the game is on the line and it's time to step up and win the game. When it comes down to it, winning is the object of football. Getting to the Super Bowl and winning the game determines who is the best. Not to take away from the talent of the great men you listed, but as far as I am concerned, you can have the greatest stats in history, but if you don't win when it counts, it really doesn't matter. But instead of arguing all that I will just say:
"3 Super Bowl Rings"

As a Patriot Fan that was by far the worst I have ever seen the Patriots play in the playoffs.
34-32 3:50 on the lock and a Patrit Ball. Indianapolis has 1 timeout. two first downs from your own 30 and you've won. Somehow they mythically stopped without getting one first down. Giving the Colts the ball with 2:17 and 1 Timeout.
you gotta hodl them to an FG.
alright last chance 1:00 2 timeouts, at the 22. Picked off.
Brady and belichick finally choked in a playoff game. what a heartbreaker. Patriots should be heading to a 4th superbowl. Now I know how Charger's fans felt last week.
"We had it." -never thought I'd be saying those words as a Patriots fan with Tom Brady under center.
