bleh. poor chargers. they played a good game and got it down to a kickable field goal at least. and poor LT he did really well all year and in this game. i was hopeing the chargers would make it to the superbowl, and i can't stand the pats. now the only team i have left is the saints, and theyre probably my 4th favorite team. i should just stop cheering for football in the postseason

If Peyton Manning can overcome his playoffs slump, I think the Colts have a chance next week. I'm definitely NOT a Patriots fan. The Chargers should have won yesterday.

The Pats deserved to win, they did what no team could before, keep the score close going into the 4th quarter. They made it a 1 quarter game, and owned that 1 quarter. Go Pats!

Go Pats! no team kept it close in the 4th quarter? the chargers had plenty of close games. they were down by 10 going into the 4th quarter against cincy for one

this game thry had alot of chances to score though, and blew it, which let the Pats keep the score down and keep it close.

Two tough games this week. Be much easier to pick the winners if the home-field advantages were swapped out and it was Chicago @ New Orleans and Indianapolis @ New England.
but because I don't get that luxury:
Patriots V Colts - New England. for a pair of reasons, going against Tom Brady in the post-season is stupid. Yes San Diego should have won, but Brady fins ways to win. You're not 12-1 with 3 SB's if you don't know what you're doing. And secondly, Am I really supposed to believe that Indianapolis will find a way to beat New England, not once but twice this season? And the second time during an AFC championship game with Constant playoff non-performers Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy at the helm? Not happening. Pats in a fairly close game.
Saints V Bears - Ugh. The No.1 NFC offense vs the No. 1 NFC defense. I'm taking the Bears and I'm really not sure why. Brees is the betetr QB with better recievrs, but I think the bears ahve the skill to shut down the Colts enough to edge out a win. Brian Urlacher as a LB has the speed to take Reggie Bush as a reciever out of the equation passing wise and in many cases running wise. That leaves Brees with pounding Deuce McAllister against a tough front 7 of the bears, or throwing against some of the best safeties and corners in the league. Bears in a close one.
New England V Chicago Superbowl

I really hope it's a Bears Pats Super Bowl. As to who would win? I am a huge Bears fan and of course I will be cheering for them but the Pats are THE team.
My fav Hester highlight is the one where he returns the field goal and acts like he doesn't know he can run it back.

Ummm, I'm going against what seems to be the more popular vote and cheering for the Colts and the Saints. I chose the Colts mainly because I think Peyton Manning is cute. His commercials crack me up.

Yay for colts-saints, tho i can't say i chose the colts cuz peyton is cute. I just get tired of hearing that he can't win in the playoffs 50 times on ESPN, and I think he deserves it for being the best qb in the NFL over the past 5 years. And I don't like the pats, so ill be rooting against them regardless of who wins teh bears-saints game. I'll be pulling for the saints just cuz i like reggie bush and the whole katrina thing, its a tearjerker. Tho i wont be heartbroken if the bears win

I gotta pick the Pats-Saints. Payton Manning is overexposed like crazy, and seems to have the personality of a bowl of cold oatmeal; the only thing that make him interesting is the fact that he's never won the big game. So I gotta root for the Pats there. And the Saints, for the obvious reason...

(end of first qtr bears-saints game) Wow, these refs are screwing the saints. That last fumble was clearly caused by him hitting the ground, I cant believe they didn't overturn it when his entire body hit the ground before it came out. And before that, sexy rexy tried to call 2 timeouts in a row and they said that it wasn't a penalty and that they just don't let it happen. Clearly they need to go read the official rulebook www.nfl.com/fans/rules/penaltysummariesIt's a 5 yard penalty. bleh. how do these guys get championchip games

Anyways, it seems like one half of the Bears v Patriots Super Bowl is going to happen, hopefully the Pats can continue the winning.
