bah. that bengals game angered me. the refs stiffed us about 10 times in blatantly awful calls that were so obvious it's shocking that they have the inteligence to breathe and stand at the same time. they said that chad johnson's feet didn't touch the ground on a catch, when he not only touched the ground, but sent it flying into the air. either we place depth charges in the field, or somethins wrong. and one of the pat's receivers cought the ball, took 2 steps forward, got tackled and fumbled, and they called an incomplete pass. ! its not complet if he dosent have controll of the ball ;D

Check out this hit. it was called illegal but it really wasn't. It was very obvious by the replay that it was clean, but it was so fast I guess you can't blame the refs for thinking it was helmet-to-helmet. Cost the bengals a 4th down, and gave the pats a big 15 yard penalty, and would've been a punt next play if it had been called right. oh well, its still a great hit ^^see, his shoulder, not his helmet makes contact with caldwell's helmet. THE perfect hit. so fast, and in the exact right place. owwie. youtube.com/watch?v=54zQslKU-D4i'll post if i see one of those catch vids come up

doesn't matter, once u make contact with it it's legal. actually, once anyone makes contact with it it's legal to hit the receiver as hard as ya want. that's why a recent call is under fire because a lineman hit the ball and made it wobble so it was obvious that he'd hit it, and some receiver got plowed over and the refs called pass interference. tho few bad calls can stand up to this baby: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUI-KvkHBhc

Ok, so what is everyone's predictions for who will be in the Super Bowl?
At first, I had a rematch of last year, with Steelers and Seahawks, but with the Steelers bombing, and Seahawks without Shaun Alexander, I have to rethink.
Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts
Winner: Chicago Bears Their defense is second to none.

oooh, goin out on a limb there arent ya? lol. that's what all the sportswriters are thinkin. I agree, chicago will definately get far in the playoffs if they can stay healthy. some are even predicting 16-0. But i think the oakland raiders might make a strong showing

I'm convinced the refs hate us Bengals and are determined in making us lose... check this out, they call roughing the passer on Justin Smith because their QB ducks AS he's being hit. 1, it's not roughing the passer if he ducks after contact is made, 2, his justin didn't push his head down at all. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfS9KQsExgsif the right play had been called, 3 kneels and a bengals victory...

hardy har har -_- we almost came back. it was close, nobody left the stadium before the last play. and vick wasnt really that impressive, it was his O line that dominated the entire game. he got literally 10 seconds to throw one play, its rediculous. Our d line isn't the best at pass rush, but dang that was pathetic. we didnt get any pressure whatsoever, and he's certainly good enough to beat ya when ur givin him that much time. garbage. ugh. congratz to the atl offense tho, we didnt really stop them, appart from FGs, halftime, and when they were tryin to run out the clock (unsuccessfully).

unless you're abou t 13-0, a loss never helps. the pats have a big advantage at home in that it's freezing and southern teams won't be used to that, as well as the normal fans etc. they need to get as much homefield advantage as possible in order to make it to the superbowl.

not relay bradys never lost in a dome plus they played so badly but only lost by 7 if brady got back those pics(and by that i mean if his recevers coaght them) we would have won most of them where for 1st and Goal

i agree it was close, but i cant see how you can say it helps them more than if theyd have won. that can only hurt their chances for home field advantage in the playoffs, and its not like theyre going to have all that pressure of being undefeated late in the season, thats so hard to do in the NFL i wouldn't be suprised if they lose 4 games yet.
