In case any stoolers fans didn't catch it, they lost 16-7 friday night to.... the Eagles? last year they went 10-6.. thats sad. AND they lost TO, who despite being a pompous jerk is definately one of the top 3 recievers in the league. Yes, it was preseason. but it still makes me smile to see pitsburgh lose I watched the whole game, and it was great. Big Ben was just movin too slow and tipin his throws. I dunno what cowher was thinking in that game tho, tryin to kick 47 and 50 yard field goals with jeff reed? I looked it up after the game, he went 6-9 from that range last year. He's not adam vinateri. And i loved it that they're starting a rb who wasn't even drafted. i love a good success story, and the kid's got tallent, but he's no bettis. My prediction for the steelers this year: 9-7

an exalt to evephoenix for being a bengals fan WHO DEY?
i'd like to give the game ball to roosterlessburger, for his 3 interceptions. or maybe carson, with 4 td catches. or maybe chris henry or tj for both catchin 2 td passes on consecutive drives. I loved the bengals forums during/after the game. They're always buzzing, but this week was great cuz there's a bunch of stoolers fans who post regularly.

The only problem is they keep getting arrested! Oh, I think they want to remake "The Longest Yard!" BTW, I actually heard something about "Eko snuffed it out" or something like that. If only . . ;D

yeah, everyone n the nfl seems to be getting better at blocking punts the pastt couple years, its weird how many kicks get blocked when it used to be so rare. and yes, superman got arrested for a DUI and will probably be suspended for the rest of the year. WHY!!! You know how maurice clarette got arrested and he had a bulletproof vest on and an ak47 in his trunk? it wasn't cuz a gang was after him, he was headed to Bengals training camp badum psssh. Who dey! I'm goin to the game sunday vs the pats im essited

Good one, Shinra! Jack, honey, I am so sorry! I went out to get my dinner and saw that the Chargers were winning with 41 seconds to go (or was it 42??) Anyways, when I got home, I saw that they lost! If you need somebody to cry to, I'm right here. Unless the Bengals win, then I will be too happy to care! Hugs and tissues! ETA: Uh, can I have one of those tissues back? The Bengals (the ones who aren't sitting out b/c they have been arrested!) also lost. I'm not having a good day in general!!!

bah. that bengals game angered me. the refs stiffed us about 10 times in blatantly awful calls that were so obvious it's shocking that they have the inteligence to breathe and stand at the same time. they said that chad johnson's feet didn't touch the ground on a catch, when he not only touched the ground, but sent it flying into the air. either we place depth charges in the field, or somethins wrong. and one of the pat's receivers cought the ball, took 2 steps forward, got tackled and fumbled, and they called an incomplete pass. ugh, so moronic nowadays. we also managed to get 4 illegal block in the backs and 3 holdings in the first half ( basically the refs were mad at us, cuz both of those happen on every play and there isn't a coach in the NFL who will deny that). Then the 2nd half came and our run def sucked. we kinda just gave up after all the heartbreaking calls and let them jam it up the middle. it would certainly help if our star linebacker hadn't got himself suspended for the year. stupid thurSTY. BAH!

Does anyone think that the Albert guy who plays for the Titans needs to be suspended longer? Officially, he has a 5 game suspension. I think he needs longer. He stepped on a guys face without his facemask on for goodness sake!

he shouldn't be suspended. I don't see why he is. He needs to be banned from the NFL. He could've blinded that guy and ended HIS career. there's no getting around the footage, he takes his helmet off, looks down at him, and stomps him twice in the face. That's a good year to 3 in prison if it happens outside the stadium, but since it was in teh game he gets a measley 5 game suspension? he's rich enough that it's not even punishment. If you go that far, you don't need to be on the field. It's a real miracle that Gurode can see. He put another player's career in jeopardy just cuz his team got scored on, it's not safe to have him on the field and he certainly doesn't deserve it. Ban the ape

Very well said. But you have to understand (and I don't condone this, I just know this is how it works), sports players get away with everything. Look at Kobe Bryant, Barry Bonds, Todd Abruzzi, among many others. Hell, look at the entire Bengals team! They are popular, rich, and they can do whatever the hell they want, and us "Americans" love it that way.
