There's a new IMAX theater that's not too far from where I live, but it costs $12!!! I think it would be fun to see it on an IMAX screen, but it just casts too much.
And this was on IMDB today, I guess it's official now.
[blue]Studio Signs for Three More 'Spider-Man' Movies
Webbed superhero Spider-Man will appear in at least three more movies, Sony Pictures has confirmed. The studio's chief executive Michael Lynton said after the box office success of the latest release Spider-Man 3, there is a huge audience waiting to see the story continue. Lynton tells BBC News, "Everybody has every intention of making a fourth, a fifth and a sixth and on and on. (We'll make) as many as we can make good stories for." Spider-Man 3 entered the record books as the most successful new release ever after taking $148 million in its opening weekend. Lynton enthuses, "I think it had a lot to do with timing - the fact we were the first out in the summer. I think it had to do with the fact that the movie had a universal appeal, it had a broader appeal than the second movie, it attracted a family audience and brought the family audience back. There were many factors that contributed to it, and there's a part that you just put down to 'I don't know'." Lynton did not confirm whether director Sam Raimi or Tobey Maguire would be coming back for the fourth installment and beyond. [/blue]

I really lvoed this film. I thought it was awesome....so I diecided tow rite up the pros and ccons of this film
What was good? The acting I really enjoyed the Sandman adn black suit Vemum. Hoenstly, the sandman creation was downright awesome! I loved the slapstick humor like the French waiter, and Peter making emo bangs...this is the stuff only Rami can get away with. The fact that peter makes his bangs look emo like Peter from heroes used have Spiderman's fliign around is awesome. You can tell Rami really cares about this character, really loves it. Rami seems like a really awesoome guy to work with
What I didn't like... The villians didn't do it for me, totaly They did not seem to make real truble untill the end...I wish the vinum would've showed up earlior. I'm not really srue i liekd what happend to harry at the end. I think the story was a bit to big. Rami does well with what he gets, but it had three villians. It just gave the stoory to much. They could've saved some of this for the next three films
All and all, it was a awesome film. Not as good as 2, but better then 1. But, safter what hapened to Harry, do we really need thre more films? I think the story is over. Its a great series, but I think by the end I felt like it ended the eseries. I thought their was no more story left to tell.

Yea, I wouldn't mind if they had stopped after 3. And FrodoFreak, nothing against you, great info, but just cause the studio signs on for it doesn't mean much. If Raimi, Dunst, and Maguire don't come back, I don't plan on watching the next one.

I didn't think it was that great. The first one was the best. This one was kinda corny and I didn't like the acting.

I think my problem with the first one was the villian didn't really do it for me. Parts seemed choppy. But in the thrid one, it seeme dto have alot of the same flaws that 1 did. But in three, the plots all seemed confused. Theres to much going on.
But i still think its the second best. The second one was perfect.

I just saw it this afternoon. It was awesome. ;D It wasn't as good as the first, it was much better than the second (the most cheesy IMHO), it was great. The cheesiness factor wasn't set too high (as it was in the second). (I still loved the second one anyway though. ;D )The villians never seemed to die though. I just loved it. ;D

Overall I loved the movie. They did a pretty good job of relating it (somewhat) to the comics.
I just wish they did much more with Venom. What a waste of a perfectly good villain...they don't even explain everything about the symbiote (like why Peter found himself suddenly on a building when he was just in bed a moment ago). If Venom had appeared earlier it would have been much better. When he finally did appear it wasn't for long (and I was waiting for the whole "we" in conversation ;D)
And based on what Spiderman did to the symbiote at the end, it doesn't look like we will be seeing Venom or any of the other Venom "spawns" later.
But the rest of the movie was still great ;D

VENOM WILL RETURN!!!!!
Why? Because there still is a little piece left. Where, you ask? Why, with Connors!!!!! Thus, that little piece will become the most diabolical villan ever . . . CARNAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
