at first, i got a nano, then it broke, then i was totally against ipods. i was probably the only apple loving ipod hating person i know. then i just recently found a cheap mp3 player on the ground. i got it to work, and got to listen to jay and jack at work. when it broke a week later, i had grown accustomed to jay and jack at work, so now i am probably gonna save up for a shuffle, cuz i don't need a screen, or a lot of space, and I'm poor.
if you choose a broad topic, IE "more than one", tell us which ones you got, and why you got 2 or more.

I have a 30gb video ipod (i've had it for about a year) and I havn't had any problems wth it.
Malcolmthrock, I suggest not getting a shuffle, I know you don't need a screen, but it's really agrivating to not know where you are on your play list and not being able to select the song/podcast you want.

I've got a 30 gig video, just like pretty much every other single person thats posted on this thread so far.
Its been great to me, and I have plenty of space left to last me at least to the end of next year. I got it before the price went down fifty bucks, when the newer nanos came out, and I still believe it was totally worth all 300 bucks. So I suggest to everyone to get the video 30gig now that its even cheaper.

My 30gb video never leaves my side. And as I've said, nobody's gonna take it from me or I'll cut em.

*sigh* Am I the only old-school iPodder here, with my powder blue, discontinued mini? I got one of the freaky ones that didn't have a battery problem. Somebody tell me when these babies will turn vintage, and I'll sell it on ebay.

I originally got a 6g mini, but i filled it up and had to take all my full albums off, then i filled it up again with only songs that i like, so i got a video and it rocks. tho i keep dropping it, it's bound to break soon...

At least the mini is pretty!
