I'm awaiting a full screen touch video ipod without the phone. Hoping for an announcement in Spring - we'll see... (oh also, more than 8 gb of flash memory as well - maybe 30-60 gb) JLSK That's what I'm waiting for too. I have a 6GB iPod Mini in Green. It's getting old.... and messing up a bit. But I really want a new wide-screen touch one, but I don't want the phone. First, it won't be sold here until next Jan. AND it only has 8GB on it. Why didn't they release the new iPods with the iPhone? That's annoying.

I have a 60gb video that I love. I really only use it in the car (for music and podcasts) and on my nightstand for sleepy time listening. I rarely use the video capabilities. The first six months of ownership was not good. I transferred a ton of cds to iTunes and onto my iPod (I still buy cds and refuse to dl music or buy anything from iTunes). And then proceeded to have my iPod freeze up on me multiple times. I would have to transfer everything back onto it two to three times a week. That was on a Windows machine. Ever since buying a Mac it has been a total love affair. In hindsight I probably would have bought a Nano. It was my original intention to have hundrdeds of cds at my fingertips whenever I wanted but I found that I for the most part listen to the same 20 or so discs all the time. Its just a different 20 discs from month to month. I would have saved moeny and bought a Nano to use as a little rotating jukebox.

i feel like i'm changing my mind every week. now, i'm probably gonna get a black video. i started saving up, and now i have enough money. i might get something inscribed in the back.
possibly my name, maybe a vulgar comment, or some kind of random pop culture reference.

i have the blue mini, it still works . most of my friends' minis have broken or screwed up at least once, i think the canadian ipod minis were jinxed or something. I got mine in the u.s. I'm planning to buy the black ipod video during the summmer.

Put Namaste. That way you will always have Lost with you.

Black/Chrome U2 Special Edition iPod, 20G. I've been wanting to move over to a video iPod, but I'm really attached to my U2 one. Maybe if I have to send it in for service again for a new battery I might consider upgrading to Black Video iPod.

I chose "nano" because I already have an iPod Video and the question asks which iPod "will" you buy. My 60GB iPod Video is too heavy to work out with. The Nano would be just right.
