Don't forget the wonder twins. Becoming a brick of ice can be very useful... Oh yes. Very useful. ;D

How many people have the same powers?? West and Nathan can fly, and Claire and Hiro's hero (forgot his name again, lol) can heal. Can't they come up with some new powers?? There's nothing wrong with them showing people with the same powers. With them showing someone else with a power we have already seen it shows us that there must be a lot of people that have powers if there are dupilcates. Point taken, but I still wish they would have thrown in some new stuff.

maybe the duplication is intentional. Ties to some aspect of show mythology not yet revealed.

yes, like maybe somehow people from from the past are related to people in the present. Like take for example, What if Taiko Kensi (i don't think thats how you spell it) is somehow related to Claire and thats how she has those powers.
oh and after this episode, i thought it would be interesting if we find out that Noah(Claires dad) is one of the original twelve. And maybe he has been hideing his power. just a thought...

Hmmm. Maybe...
I saw that kiss between Peter and Katelyn a mile away. And the one between West and Claire. Peter should have opened the box! The whole thing between West and Claire was kinda cute, though a bit silly.

I don't trust West for some reason. To me he seems like he is hiding something

So far the only thing i find engaging about this season is the Mohinder/Mr Bennett storyline. All the others seem to annoy me on different levels

i think Monica's power is really cool. at first i didn't like it. but now it seems like it could really come in handy.

d**nIT Kristen Bell should've joined Lost instead. I hope she's mad at herself for choosing Heroes over Lost. She's an amazing actress and her talents seem like they're being wasted....I agree with Jetblack - The Mohinder/Bennett storyline is the only interesting one. Well I like the one with Matt/Nathan/and Matt's dad so far. But the Claire storyline sucks SO BAD. And so does Hiro's lame story in ancient Japan. And Peter's crappy Irish story. The first season was pretty good but it's just way to convoluted this year. They need to kill off 3 or 4 of the characters before things could get interesting.

I agree Kristen Bell's role seems very shallow. Kinda a disappointment.
The rest is ok - Peter's story is working for me so far, but I also agree the Claire story also is a bit trite so far...

Kristen Bell's character of Elle has been in, what, 3 scenes? I don't know that it's fair to write her off as shallow just yet. Besides, she shoots electricity out of her hands!!! How cool is that? (Answer: very!!)
She was interviewed on the radio the other morning, and said she was never approached about Lost, so it wasn't a case of choosing one. She liked Heroes before she was on it, she got offered a role on Heroes. I think she'll prove to be an interesting character with more time.
Oh, and I hate West.

Does anyone know if Heroes is going to end the season early because of the Writers strike?

I know they were going to split the season and have two story arcs to it. I believe the split was meant to happen in December, then they would have Heroes: Origins during the break, and then do the second story arc.
I'm pretty sure Heroes:Origins is on the shelf because of the strike, so I'm guessing/hoping they have enough to finish up this current arc in December.

Looks like we get three more episodes that will finish what would have been the 1st arc - "Generations" - and "Origins" seems to have been moved to some sort of web based story - based on the commercial they ran during the show - maybe as a set of graphic novels as they have been doing since the beginning of Heroes.

I listen to The Tenth Wonder Podcast. They said that Origins has been cancelled due to the strike. They quickly filmed a new ending for episode 11 and if the strike isn't over soon, that will be the new season finale. Season 2 will end there.
