Yeah - I think it is kind of interesting some of the parallels. Nathan sees himself looking burned, having a haircut that looks like Peter's old one and a necklace that we later see Peter wearing, that the Hatian used to wear.
One additional interesting thing. So Jessica's power was her strength. We always assumed that the Nikki thing might have been just psychological, or maybe due to a special power that Nikkie possessed that somehow let her live on as an alter-ego of her sister's.
Now we see Nathan seeing his "dead" brother perhaps in a mirror...
Also in the finale, Jessica and Peter meet up in the finale at the very end, so perhaps there was some power transferance there that happened that might be a part of this as well.
Kinda random thoughts - I'll be very interested to see how it all connects up.

Screen cap of nathan looking in mirror - the reflection looks a lot more like Peter with the old haircut, perhaps before fully healing from the explosion.  Also, look at the necklace that both are wearing - they sure look the same - On Nathan it seems like the necklace string is a twisted set of two dark cords. It is the same on Peter's neck. I could see any place where the actual symbol is viewable on Nathan's though...   JLSK |

Hm. I thought the thing with Nathan looking in the mirror was what he really looked like, because he was so close to the explosion.

I think Nathan is out for revenge for the bomb plot and putting Peters life in danger, or maybe under control of someone/something else. He could have planted both photos (he ran into Ando right before Kaito got the newspaper, and he walked into Peter apartment right before his mom walked out), he also could have flown away after pushing Kaito off the roof. His mom also got attacked right as he was getting to the police station and stopped when the mirror broke. I think the attacker was using the mirror, or coming through it to attack her. It is the second time something weird happend around Nathan and a mirror.

I agree that something odd is going on with Nathan. I could see him being the killer, although his powers would have to have been expanded to create what happened to his mother in the police holding cell.
Looking at the reflection of the burned face - it looks much more like Peter's face shape than Nathan's though. Not sure what that might mean...

I thought maybe it was Claude when Mrs. Petrelli got attacked cause you couldn't see anyone. But that doesn't cover the flying thing, so it was most likely Nathan. |

How many people have the same powers?? West and Nathan can fly, and Claire and Hiro's hero (forgot his name again, lol) can heal. Can't they come up with some new powers?? And that was sooooo disgusting when Claire cut off her toe! I think Peter has a possible new love interest. And what is Alejandro's power? Can he just take away whatever that thing is that Maya does?

I like the fact that there are people with the same powers. And according to TV Guide, regarding Maya and Alejandro: Maya creates an immediately fatal virus when she is under stress, and Alejandro is the antidote. So whenever he's around no one can get affected by it. |

There's nothing wrong with them showing people with the same powers. With them showing someone else with a power we have already seen it shows us that there must be a lot of people that have powers if there are dupilcates. |
