IS there a significant connection between [glow=red,2,300]marvin candle's arm[/glow][glow=blue,2,300]montand's arm[/glow]<member of Danielle's team who lost his arm in the Dark Territory, killed by Danielle>and [glow=yellow,2,300]dr. mullen's arm[/glow]??<letter from the pic in the new hanso photo>or maybe people in the island just drop body parts everywhere??

Yes, there is a significant connection, but what?
Moving questions over here from the other thread, . . .
Was losing an arm a rite of passage? Was it from subduing the "security system?" Was it from Dharma sharks? Was it ripped off by the "Scottish Alien?"
Other body parts are missing, too. The obvious one that comes to mind is the eye.
When Jack and Arzt, etc. go to the Black Rock to get the dynamite, the "monster" comes. Danielle says something like, "That's just what happened before Montand lost his arm." So maybe losing arms does have to do with tweaking with the security system.

It's hard to tell in the Dharma orientation film whether Dr. Candle has a glass eye or not. I bet you are right, though. And I bet it was Candle's Bible and he was the one who cut out that piece of film and hid it there.

the orientation film was weird maybe the other half that eko found was indeed a part of that whole film or was it a continuity blunder that the production team did or something.or maybe it was a different marvin candle we saw...hmmm

Doctor Mullen was the also the name of the rancher that Kate stayed with in Australia, who had a prosthetic arm as well, so regardless of whether the picture is a fake, Mullen definitely had an arm missing.
Jack's lost step kid.

I think Mullen, Candle, and Danielle's colleague lost their arms the same way -- something to do with the "monster." Maybe Candle had slower reaction time and lost an eye to boot!

In another thread, evilgus (I think) said someone on the boat had a glass eye. Who on the boat had a glass eye? Do you mean one of the seabillies who took Walt?

Supposition:
IF the one who said, "We're gonna haf to take the boy," has a glass eye
AND he is the only person on the show with a glass eye
AND the spoilers from the Fuselage are correct
THEN the seabilly with the glass eye must be the one who cut up the orientation film!
It's elementary, my dear Watson.
