Hey, not dissing anyone who loved the book. By way of a thriller, it was a decent book, just too much hype ruined the experience for me, mithrandir. But I ain't sayin' it sucked. When i started reading the book I hadn't heard any of the hype ;D Just borrowed it from my dad who'd just recently read it and thought it was pretty good. |

I have the extended DVD editions of each movie. (first two ones last some 3 hours 20 minutes and ROTK lasts over 4 hours). I was totally hyped about the movies after seeing the first one. (hadn't read the books yet at that time)

Yea. Isn't it awesome in extended return of king how gimli and Aragorn (i think) kill the commander. Totally sweet. And Elijah Wood is the most underated actor in Hollywood today.
