Sorry I have been away, but been spending most of my "free" time sorting and packing. It's just a little more than a month until I move and it seems to be flying by. Still TONS to go through and pack. I hope to put in another 10 hours tomorrow. Bev, keep giving us updates as they happen and we'll keep sending good luck vibes your way and hoping you get some resolution (and retribution.) I had never heard of Ashley Furniture, but shortly after you told us about them, I saw a commercial for them. I gave them a rude gesture, though since the gesture was directed at the TV, I don't know that they got the message.  LOL....Good one Jana, I will keep you updated, haven't heard back from the BBB in Arizona yet, they did let me know that they did get the pictures that I sent to them along with my very long letter, it's wait and see what happens next. |

Have to tell you all about an ad in an Ashley's sale insert in today's paper. It said ..... No Questions Asked Retun Policy... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am saving the ad in case it goes to court. I am begining to think that I am being PUNKED  |

I am saving the ad in case it goes to court. I am begining to think that I am being PUNKED Sorry Bev didn't you read the fine printing, the return policy is only open for those not named Bev and Figgy.  Good luck though. Exalt again to you. |

Hey Bev - don't forget to document the day the ad ran. On second thought, save the whole page to be on the safe side. This way you can prove when the ad ran, where in the paper, how visible it was, etc. They change ad copy all the time - including fine print, the size of the ad, and where it runs.

+16. Thoughts on the new Star Trek anyone? Jay, CLif and I went last night in IMAX and it was freaking awesome! I loved it. I can't say I am a total trekkie but I have seen the original series so I was really happy about this movie. One of my favorite parts was the crowd in my theater. I had a mixed crowed, by which I mean I had some nerds in there that started cheering and clapping. Of course I joined in, my brother was not happy about that. |
