Yeah, Cindy, you too! Where have you been?! Power failure. Woke up to no electronics & didn't want to mess around with wireless networks since I didn't know how they got affected. Spent the morning playing cards with my mom (we're both vocationally challenged at the moment). Thankfully everything is back up and running. Would you believe the power came on at 12:04!? Minimal resetting of clocks since they were all flashing 12:00 ;D Other than that, it's been the same old, same old. |

Strider has his one-week check up tomorrow morning at 9am to see whether or not the heart medications are working, if he can stop taking diuretics (meaning I can actually leave the house on Friday), and if there is any damage to his kidneys due to the heart disease meds. Everyone send good thoughts for him!

Hey yal, been out in the field for 3 weeks and haven't really had the time to get on here. Hope everything is well. A big storm came through Knoxville yesterday and blew out everyone's electricity, so that being said, I missed LOST!!!! Super pissed!

+12,967 Hey Nick - didn't you guys get hit bad with the ice not too long ago? Yeah, that was last week! On Monday it was a combination of rain and ice, followed by a two day blizzard of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday and the average temperature was 7. I know that's not too cold for some people, but for Tennessee it is. To me though, it really wasn't all that bad. We worked all three days in it outside and it really didn't bother me, you just have to have the right kind of outdoor gear. Then, yesterday we got hit with Tornado warnings and the winds were so strong they blew down two telephone polls near my house. Hopefully, my cable will be back on tonight, so I can at least watch the Office. |
