"This British(?) slave-trading vessel disappeared in 1881, on a return voyage from a gold mining operation in the South Indian Ocean. Perhaps more interesting than the fact the ship was lost were the circumstances preceding and following its disappearance. According to traders on Papua New Guinea, the ship sailed away from port in an Easterly direction, rather than West to Africa, where it would exchange gold from the mines in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea for more slaves. Furthermore, though a copy of the ship's manifest has been discovered - no accurate information is available on the ship's ownership. According to the manifest, The Black Rock initially sailed from (and was supposed to return to) slip 23 in Portsmouth, Britain -- but no shipping company claimed ownership. A crew of some 40 men, along with an uncounted number of slaves, was presumably lost at sea."

This may tie to the research Mittelwerk is doing on the Hanso Family shipping history and the reference to Magnus Hanso on the infamous Hatch Map. Another source on the web seems to show that slip 23 was owned by Magnus Hanso, placing the Black rock into the 1880's. Magnus was apparently the owner of the "New World Sea Traders", which he liquidated in 1882. He continued to sail and captain ships after that.

I like Team Brazil's theory. Sure, it's got some holes, but I still like to see someone from the game popup in Lost.

We developed this theory, and we thought that may be interesting to post at the blog to see if anybody else thinks that way...

Taking into consideration all of the 3 LOST's seasons and the Find815 game we, the TEAM GAME, came to after today's new clue.

As we came to know in the second season, Penny's father could have something to do with the fact that Desmond is on the island, or that he's missing for that matter. Penny's never gave up on finding her soulmate. So, after the brotha went missing, Penny started to think that maybe her father should have something to do with that and started to check his history and actions.

She founds the connection between her family and the Hanso Foundation and all of its experiments. By knowing that, she came across the magnetic experiments information and started to investigate them, as the Hanso Foundation did.

On the island, we see The Swan blowing up by the ending of the 2nd season. Which cause a huge electromagnetic explosion that had its effects "felt" on the planet and was detected by Penny's researchers right away (those two Brazilians on the Arctic). At this point, Penny was right she had found Desmond.

Simultaneously, Penny discovers, during her investigation under her father, a communication room, but has no clue of with what that communicates, since everything is offline.

Mr. Widmore, by some mean, finds out that Penny knows the island location. And knowing her daughter is getting to know some things he don't want her to and that may compromise him with Desmond's disappearing, asks one of his employees, which we assume is Mr. Talbot, to lead an expedition to the island and clean out anything that could possibly link him to Desmond or anything else he had done on the island.

To achieve that, he tells Mr. Talbot that he should tell the Losties that who's leading the expedition is Penny. To make them believe, Mr. Widmore gives him some book that belongs to Penny and a picture of her and her boyfriend.

The boat gets to the island, and Naomi, convinces the Losties that the expedition is led by Penny.

Coincidentally at the same time the boat is waiting for Naomi's call from the island, Penny gets to the communication room we talked above, when all of a sudden everything starts to work and she gets to talk to Charlie letting him know there are no boats.

Bottom line: Christiane I is Naomi's boat. And we're probably going to see Sam in 4th season!

It'd be fun to see the ARG folk show up in Lost (Sam, Oscar, both good actors appearantly. Sam acts a bit Jack-ish imho (not necesairily a bad thing and Oscar's character could go either way: good or bad.).
Time discrepancies between ARG en Lost could be solved by forward and backward flashes right? It'd be a nice touch, seeing Sam arive on the future Island finding the people that "stayed behind".

The 'temple' picture is i think the biggest clue we got for season 4. Very nice. Looks a bit 'mayan' style.

My clue word was 423 Cheyne Walk. Your screen cap says Cheyenne. I cant get it to work with either spelling. It works. Weird that they would spell it differently after playing the trivia on the black rock.

Yeah, it appears they just changed that clue word very recently.

It was Cheyenne Walk first. Then they changed it, cause Cheyne Walk is an actual place and the first one isn't.
But maybe the change didn't went through complete, not sure.

I hope Penny's number comes into play, it seems weird that they would just give us a dead end number as a clue.
