Has anyone noticed that in the e-mail from David Massingham, the flight from Sydney was at 08:50, and the flight landing and taking off in Darwin and landing in Jakarta was at 14:15 and 15:15.
when you put those two together, you can get 815.
I didn't know if there was a connection to that, but the fact that they used an 8 and two 15's was kind of strange.

I am late coming in to this...but already addicted. I've competed ch 2, but not ch 1. I cannot for the life of me get clue #4 on the nightstand! I have logged out and then back in. I have all the other clues in the room...but not that one! And I've even already completed ch 2 as I said. I feel dumb asking but I'm going berserk! LOL Help! ETA Nothing on or near the nightstand or lamp is clickable for me. ETA Went to backpack game on my own. Played and got password. Came back to clue hunt and still it was not clickable. Then clicked on Charlie's CD and then went back to nightstand and it was clickable! Whew! Not sure why but thank goodness!

Hmmm... Abc's latest press release for the S4 Premiere has this in it:
Lance Redrichard will appear as the character "Matthew Abbadon"
Matthew and Abbadon - do those sound familiar... Maybe the clues out of Chapter #1 in find815?

The code for the briefcase is 852930
Found in the comments at find815.blogspot.com " the passcode is 852 930, that corresponds to the initials from the suitcase... AMM = A. Mullins @ the cell phone..." From the items in the briefcase, I guess we now know that the Maxwell Group is a part of Widmore.

I opened the briefcase but I think there were some things I didn't find in there. I didn't find the object that's supposed to occupy the top left shaded rectangle and there was an area on the floor that was clickable, but it didn't do anything when I clicked. Anyone know what's up with that stuff?

The top left shaded area was the phone - so you did find it:) don't know what the floor was about, there seems to be another drawer to click on under the one the phone is in don't know if that was anything either, that game was great, it reminded me of 'Hotel Dusk' on the DS

I agree it was fun. I a bit ashamed of myself though cause i cheated. Couldn't find the code for the suitcase so i looked it up *blush* And as always you go "aaah, ofcourse". Darnit! Next chapter (or next cluehunt or whatever), without cheating! I don't care how long it takes me.

Aww, it's okay Wesh. I ended up looking for the code for the suitcase online as well. Next part of the chapter is up! The ship's navigating instruments go haywire. Then, you've got to find the Seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4 clues. The puzzle to find the "password" for unlocking the S4 clue is to trace 3 kinds of navigational routes, but you've got some restrictions. The codeword you get from the game is 36-15-28 The clue is a Tunisian newspaper. I'm taking French and from what I could read, it says, "The American airline company Oceanic has now made the decision to abandon the search for Flight 815. The Boeing 777 is [porte] missing since the 22nd of September. [etaient a bord] flight [dont] they have been lost since they left Sydney, Australia. There were no survivors and nothing was recovered. According to the directors, the Oceanic Airlines company (I think it's safe to assume the newspaper says that, though parts of it are cut off), despite every effort, whose search operations... " Words in the brackets are the ones I couldn't translate/couldn't figure out what it meant in the context of the sentence. Porte comes from the verb Porter which means"to carry, to bring, to wear. The form of Porter in the newspaper is the past tense of the word. I wasn't sure how it fit in the sentence though.

I wonder if those letters are scrambled?
Did we ever decided what the gray numbers were in the last email?
