Hi all, In case you didn't know - we are keeping track of all new findings here: jayandjack.com/wiki/index.php?title=The_Lost_ExperienceI've updated the Wiki and added in some really general guidelines: When editing or adding information, please try and put it into one of the existing category areas if at all possible. If it doesn't fit into a specific category, then create a new one where it makes sense, trying to keep the current format and style that is already here. When posting images, please try to post them real size and with focus on the important area (possibly cropping out unnecessary parts). Enlarge images only when it helps clarify what is in the image. This will help keep this page from getting gigantic. Thanks!!! Mainly, this is to help give some framework to keep it somewhat consistent. Hope everyone is ok with this. Lots of people are adding and correcting things on the Wiki which is exciting! Keep up the great work! JLSK PS Oh, one addition, if you make any big changes or corrections, you might log it in the discussion tab with your stamp so that we can track what changed and why a bit better.

I just checked back today and it looks great, i love how many screenshots you have. It's nice not to have to go there and spend half an hour trying to get it to work based on a half-way description, or searching through the forums. Keep up the great work.
(btw, i went to google in search of info on the mental health page, and the wiki is the 2nd thing, so you may yet bring new listeners :-) )

Just an update.
It looks like when a page starts to have more than 32k of text in it people may have problems editing the page. The suggestion is to start splitting off subpages.
I already moved the great Oceanic Airline website content off the page, partly because I don't think it has been confirmed to be new clues or a part of the game, and partly to start creating sub-pages to get the main page under 32k.
If we get a big influx of new content soon, I may take the whole hanso site section and make that it's own page as well, which would go a long ways to helping with this. For now thought I am just leaving it as is until it is clear we are going to have to grow the page longer than it is rather than just updating areas of the page.

Thanks. Have we confirmed those other sites as Alias sites? I don't think they are related to this game -- if they aren't, we should take that off too.
I think that splitting into sub pages is a good idea... we will get an influx of content sooner or later.

I put some thoughts in the discussion area. If you feel it's worth going into the main area, feel free to move it.

Wannabeactuary,
Basically my filter for what I'm seeing on the discussion section of the wiki would be something like:
1. If it is documenting what is a clue or a potential solution to what is there on the hanso site it should be in the wiki.
2. If it is an idea that deserves investigation or discussion, that should filter through the forums and be posted there first to discuss and distill anything good out of. If some interesting end is reached then put that into the wiki.
So, looking in the discussion section I'd say the observation about the 2630 should be added into the wiki since it documents something unexplained on the hanso site that might be a clue, while some of the notes in the "Alvar hanso bio" section doesn't seem to really tie to anything concrete, but is more of a suggestion to talk around, investigate and see if anything note worthy is there. I'd post that in the forum first and see what comes up.
Either way, I'd say Wannabe, if you think you have something that would be good for the wiki, go for it and add it in :-)

Two users logged into the wiki and decided it would be fun to go in and screw with everything.
Looks like the spam we are getting in the forums isn't the only depressingly stupid behaviour we're seeing on the site.
I reset the wiki back to the last edit that was a normal one.

bleh - some idiot. I sent a message off to Ralph to see if there is anything from the admin side of things. Someone from road runner ISP.
To revert a page back, just go into :
history, go to the last good revision by clicking on the date. click edit tab click save at the bottom of the edit page -
The reality is a couple hundred good users correcting this will win out over a spammer. And in all honesty if the person continues to be persistant, the IP is logged with a time stamp and can just be reported to the ISP.

Road Runner? Well that narrows it down to Time Warner Cable users.

Yeah - I'm tired of reverting this over and over. Whoever it is they seem to have time to have fun destroying other people's work and enjoyment. More power to them. If that makes their day, it is a bit sad, but life. Going to bed. Maybe Ralph will have a solution other than policing the pages every half hour.

Is there a way to require registration & login before posting on the wiki?
