I never called and I was never played!
What is the point of this thread? With the huge amount of calls it's clear that it can't be everybody's turn every week. You were on before, Malcolm.
I don't know if you find the topic entertaining and if that is the reason why you started it ... but in my mind it sounds a bit accusing ...?

I'd love to call but I never have anything clever or interesting to say. The Godfather is pretty cute.

Yeah, I've never called either. I sent an email once, though. They read it on the Ramblecast. It was a limerick about Jay.

Exalt-a-Steve cause he entertained me. + 34

I don't think I was listening then. The first J&J I listened too was "ferrarie" or however you spell it.

my calls are never played thats cause your boring and nobody likes you! No, haven't you figured it out? These days all you have to do is say "Holy Crap" and your call gets on the podcast. You don't need to have a theory or anything good to say. I don't even listen to the listener feedback anymore... it's gotten too watered down. A year ago there were good theories, now people just gush abour how awesome it was and repeat the same lame theories over and over again.

J&J need to have two different listener feedbacks, one for the holy crap people, and one for the "Jacob isn't real, narghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!" people.

Maybe that sounded harsh, but it's not anything against J&J.
A year ago I would tune in, and it would be call after call of mind-blowing theories, stuff I had never thought of. These days it just seems to be people calling in to say they liked the show.
Now obviously J&J have a lot more calls to go through. Maybe they don't even get through all of them and just take the first 20 or so that are good enough. But I personally don't care about the calls that go "OMG, that episode was sooooo awesome. The ending just blew my mind. Ok, bye." I can get that from family and friends that watch the show. One or two is fine, but it gets repetitive.
But I found a way to cure my frustration. I just skip Listener Feedback entirely. Turns an hour show into about a 25 minute one.
