I've got my first job and I would LOVE a new computer. Macs seem awesome. Should I get one now or wait for the newest version.. or what? The whole new generation every few months makes me mad. I have an 30GB Video iPod, I hope that wont be obsolete soon. -Crosses fingers-

Cool. -is excited- Everyone raves about them, so I hope the're as great as the iPod and iTunes. I've grown up on windows, so seeing iTunes and my iPod.. I didn't know what I was missing.

i just had a look around for some free stuff, picked up some cool widgets ;D i also downloaded a few demos (inc call of duty 2 ) i know ill be fiddling around with garageband for a while, i still havent had chance to explore it all, plus that built in camera, i know ill just be dying to make a few random vids with that. I didnt think apple would have lowered the price, the macbook only just came out this year, i think my brother was just waiting because he was probably waiting for the iMac upgrade ( 24inch iMac ) but anywho, 4 days til it ships, over at the macrumors boards, sum say that apple overestimate thier shipping dates, so fingers crossed they did with mine!

Which kind of Mac should I get? I don't want to spend too much. Most of what I'll be doing on it is with pictures. Photoshop, slideshows, etc. And video (webcam videos, etc.) So.. I can't figure out which one would be the best. Any suggestions?

I have a 14-inch iBook, it suits me fine (but i don't think they sell them anymore) but uhhh....let me check......if you would rather have a laptop i would get the 2GHz white 13-inch, or if you want the desktop i would get the 2GHz 17-inch
