Over the last few days since the finale I have seen quite a few people who did not like finale and some even down right hated it because it did not answer enough questions for them and they feel cheated. I have seen quite a few people say they feel as though they wasted 6 years of there life although i cannot believe anyone thought the finale was that bad. To these people who are dissapointed with not getting enough answers all I have to say is: what show have you been watching the past six years? When have we ever gotten all the answers...never!! It just wouldnt be LOST if they told us everything. And lets be honest as great and intruiging as the mythology was the show has always been about these characters. I cannot believe anyone who says this one episode ruined the other 120+ episodes we have seen over the years, if thats true you were never a real fan of the show lets just be real. I also think before anyone starts bashing the finale at least make sure you fully understand it first otherwise you just sound stupid. If you hated the finale because you didnt fully understand the "sideways" then go back and watch it until you do and then maybe you can realize what the rest of us have that the ending was beautiful. Maybe some people just arent ready to "move on" and thats why they are angry but when you are we will all be here waiting for you.

I've heard much of the same sentiment. This usually comes from people who watch Lost on Netflix or who bought the DVD's and watched them straight through. For those of us that really did spend 6 years watching this show, it was a fantastic ending. When you watch a season straight-through quickly, you don't have time to sit with anticipation of the next season. You don't have time to develop and love for the characters and how they've developed with you over 6 years. Unfortunately, the Lost was a show that had to be "experienced". You had to talk about it around the water cooler, come up with your own theories, and wait to see what happens next season. I don't blame the people that say they don't like it, but it's obvious that just didn't have the investment in the show that many of us had.

I don't know. At first I was a little disappointed on the mythology absence but it was made up for in raw emotional feelings about the characters. I understand if someone didn't like the Finale. I didn't like some Lost episodes and some episodes like Across the Sea I loved and many hated. It's always dangerous when someone says "well if you didn't like the finale, you don't really like Lost" Or you didn't "invest as much as me"...whatever. Some people liked the finale and others loved it, or hated it, or were disappointed in it. One's enjoyment of anything does not have to come at the expense of someone else's.
But...POOR DESMOND. No touchy shock and flashbacks with Penny.
