Blood on Jack's Neck

So does anyone have a good theory behind the blood on his neck?

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with people dying on the island... Juliet had just died or was about to in the first episode of the season. Now in this latest episode Sun, Jin, Sayid & Frank all met their end... & there was also a lot more than the first time he was bleeding.

I think whatever Jack experiences on the Island before "merging" into the sideways will give him a cut on his neck.

I would think it'd be connected to the donkey wheel. Locke hurt his leg and was bleeding when he turned it. Ben had cut his arm.

So Jack may cut his neck.
