hey... i just noticed in the episode "The Moth," as Charlie is leaving the confessional, there is a statue of Mary IN FOCUS on the foreground right hand side of the screen...it looks very familiar somehow...could that priest be part of the answer?

I saw that too a while back, I think it is a larger version of the little statuettes on the drug plane. I think the writers probably noticed the statue in the foreground of The Moth and had copies done as a cool little tie in for fans who bought the DVD. I doubt that is a sign that anyone from the church is in on Charlie's fate, but I do think it's a very cool thing to catch! Nice find!

Usually I can locate screencaptures, but this one I turn up empty. I can't find any statues in the scene with Charlie in the church...

I checked and, the statues are not the same color.
The one in the church is green.
The ones on the island are blue and red.
