Just had a crazy thought.
Sun's been shot. Locke (or something looking like Locke - my personal jury is still out) is hit by a car. It's been established that San Sabastian Hospital seems to be the only hospital in all of Los Angeles in the ALT world (sarcasm).
Remember way back when - when Jack had a choice to make between working on Shannon's father and Sarah (the future Mrs. Shephard)? What if he's faced with the same choice here - but between Sun and Locke?
Does this alternate Jack try to save Sun because she's pregnant with a bullet lodged near her spine (my supposition) - or does he go for Locke who he sort of knows from the airport?
Either way - I think Jack gets a serious kick in the memory from seeing both Locke and Sun (maybe even Jin) - and REALLY starts remembering the island that maybe send him to join Libby at Santa Rosa (LOL) - OK - maybe not that - but I think he does start having some flashes to his own Island story.
