Are Jay and Jack Father + Son

I am kind of new to the show (picked it up just after this last season started) I don't know much about the hosts. (forgive me If I reverse names)

Im just curious I hear Jay say stuff like "Me and your mother were..." and Jay make references to how he is older then jack.

Are they father son, or step-father/step-son,

just curious,

love the show wish I found it sooner.

They are step-father and step-son, but you've got the names mixed up.
